Kingswood Village, voted BEST Condo Complex in Tahoe Basin, is an immaculately-maintained, serene Alpine setting at Kings Beach. This is a Prime Location!! Just minutes away from skiing or golfing at Northstar, with its beautiful "European Village" dining and entertainment, or nearby Incline Village, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley.

The quaint village of Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe's northeast shore offers a myriad of water sports, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and golf. Old Brockway golf course, the original home of the Bing Crosby golf tournament, is just down the street. Nevada casino gaming is minutes away in Crystal Bay.

Our lovely 3 story townhouse provides spacious accommodations. The first floor contains the two-room bathroom, master bedroom with queen bed, and laundry closet with washer/dryer. There is a covered patio off the master bedroom, a lovely, quiet place to sit and read in the shade of huge fir trees.

A second floor main living area contains the kitchen, dining area and living room. Our kitchen is fully equipped with almost any cooking tools you may need. The living room has a wood fireplace, 27" TV with cable, DVD player, VCR and stereo with CD player and internet access (both wifi and cat 5 cable).

We have stocked this area with lots of board games and a reading library. The decor is a sort-of "old Tahoe skier meets winemaker" theme. Off the living room on this level is a deck with charcoal weber BBQ, table and chairs - a great spot for dinner on a warm night.

The top floor is an open loft with soaring ceilings that overlooks the living room. Here you will find two twin beds with a dresser, closet and nightstand. Stained glass and antique skis add to the relaxing ambiance.

Kingswood Village complex features lovely shaded resurfaced tennis courts, circled by a meandering path along the creek thru the tall pine trees. The horshoe pits are nestled amoung the trees just after crossing the creek by footbridge. The magical path leads out of the tall pines to the sparkling aqua-marine adult pool and childrens pool, surrounded by lovely chaise sunning chairs or nearby patio chairs and tables in green grassy shade for relaxing and reading.

The pristine pool house features men and womens areas; including showers, bathrooms, dry-sauna, and dressing areas. Also a small coed exercise room is available with new state-of-the art equipment.

Come for the beauty, stay for the serrenity. You will not be disappointed.

Cozy Condo - Kingswood Village - Minutes to Northstar

Year Purchased: 2005

Why the Owner Chose Kings Beach

The Sierra's are our favorite area for backpacking and skiing. We always ski at Northstar or Squaw Valley and love the "european" village atmospheres of both. Kings Beach is a quaint cozy lakeside village and ideal convenient location. We enjoy our place very much and want to share this beautiful area with as many people as possible.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

Our condo is perfectly situated on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. It is one mile from the lake's edge in King's Beach, and 5 miles from the entrance to Northstar Ski Resort. Casinos are less than three miles away at Crystal Bay. Ski Incline is 10 minutes away. Kings Beach has all the amenities one could need. Being gourmet cooks, we made sure the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the necessary cooking tools. We have decorated the condo with a skiing and wine theme.

Owner's Map of Kings Beach

We are both professionals, Sharon is a pharmacist and John is a sales manager, and we love the great outdoors. Hiking, skiing, golfing, gardening, and gourmet cooking are our hobbies but wine making is our passion. We are winemakers and have our own non-commercial winery here in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the bar area around the kitchen to feed the kids, the inflatable Queen mattrass to put on the pull out bed to make it very comfy, and the closeness to skiing, less then 10 min.!

We stayed for a very pleasant week at this condo. Every item is as advertised. Very clean and organized and everything you need is there. We enjoyed the TV in the master bedroom (we dont have that at home). Good shower, good cable. We would stay there again. Owner very organized and responded to email promptly. Also a prompt return of cleaning deposit.

Great stay

We had an excellent experience with renting this condo. The owners were very accessible and immediately responsive to questions. The condo complex was very quiet and peaceful, and very close to King's Beach activities and restaurants. The condo is very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced for the area. The mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, but only a personal opinion. There was a nice pool in the complex (not heated our weekend, too cold for swimming in it) with a ping pong table. I would definitely recommend this rental for staying in North Tahoe area, great location. We hope to return soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay

We stayed at the condo over 4th of July weekend 2011. The condo was clean and quiet and comfortable. It's also centrally located with easy driving access to the beach and the grocery store. We also walked to the beach and it wasn't bad, maybe a little over a mile. Nice condo, good price. Owners very agreeable and easy to deal with.

Spring Break 2011

Guest: Mani (San Jose)
Date of Stay: 04/18/11 Review Submitted: 04/26/11

Spent five days of the spring break here - mostly playing board games! Of course skiing, learning snowboarding in nearby northstar, dinner at incline village, educational visit to sierra nevada college/UC Davis center etc was also good. But mostly it was the homey feeling cabin, warm bed that made our week. Snowing in late April (1-2 inch), sun at slopes, warmed my heart enough to do half of business ;) What can I say to John and Sharon other than thank you for sharing your cabin. Renting was smooth, quick and overall value for the money!

Owner response:Thank you Mani

Comfortable, well-maintained, conveniently located

Guest: Betsy (South Bay Area, CA)
Date of Stay: 02/19/11 Review Submitted: 03/03/11

This is a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained condo. The owners keep everything in good repair and the complex keeps the parking lots and walkways clear of snow. It's conveniently located--a short drive to the lake, Safeway, and various restaurants, and not far from the North Tahoe ski areas. We definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Convenient, comfortable home away from home

Guest: Michael (Bay Area, California)
Date of Stay: 02/14/11 Review Submitted: 02/19/11

We recently stayed here for a couple of days. The owners were extremely efficient, responsive, and helpful in setting up the reservation and returning the deposit afterwards. The condo itself is very well maintained, the beds were comfortable (bonus: electric blanket for the master bedroom), and it was well stocked with family games for the evening. The kitchen had all of the necessary utensils and pots/pans for making meals. It is extremely convenient to Northstar, grocery shopping, and restaurants. The price was right as well. There was a minor item which took a star away: the oven is original 1970s, and we ended up cooking our pizza for twice as long as expected... maybe it was just the altitude, but I don't think so. The onsite guest book had many positive entries, so I think many people have enjoyed staying there, and I think you will too.

Owner response:Updating the oven is on our list of projects. We hope to make that happen soon.
