We had a delightful stay in this lovely area. The condo is very convenient to the King's Beach area with access to all the other Tahoe favorites. It had everything that we needed, although we ate only breakfasts at the condo. The lower bedroom stayed very cool and comfortable, but the loft was a little warm. The washer & dryer came in handy after a fun river rafting experience that included getting soaked. The wifi is strong and fast. John and Sharon have provided a great notebook that is full of helpful information. Oh yes, there is a hair dryer (brought mine since the info didn't show one) and they provide amenities like soap, shampoo. Thanks for sharing your Tahoe home with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

This spacious and comfortable place once again met our small family's requirements. It is well suited and comfortable for four people. With six, you'll have two people on the hideabed. There is some nice privacy for the people in the bedroom... they are on the bottom floor, while kids can sleep in the loft two floors away. :-) Nicely decorated; clean. One minor complaint: we found that it was difficult to warm the place up, especially in the lower floor. The great news is, they have a heated mattress pad on the bed in the downstairs, so that kept us toasty warm while we slept. The owners did a great job of taking care of us and answering questions, promptly returning our deposit, etc. Lots of stairs, so caution to anyone who has mobility issues. Recommended!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the bar area around the kitchen to feed the kids, the inflatable Queen mattrass to put on the pull out bed to make it very comfy, and the closeness to skiing, less then 10 min.!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We had an excellent experience with renting this condo. The owners were very accessible and immediately responsive to questions. The condo complex was very quiet and peaceful, and very close to King's Beach activities and restaurants. The condo is very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced for the area. The mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, but only a personal opinion. There was a nice pool in the complex (not heated our weekend, too cold for swimming in it) with a ping pong table. I would definitely recommend this rental for staying in North Tahoe area, great location. We hope to return soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

We stayed for a very pleasant week at this condo. Every item is as advertised. Very clean and organized and everything you need is there. We enjoyed the TV in the master bedroom (we dont have that at home). Good shower, good cable. We would stay there again. Owner very organized and responded to email promptly. Also a prompt return of cleaning deposit.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at the condo over 4th of July weekend 2011. The condo was clean and quiet and comfortable. It's also centrally located with easy driving access to the beach and the grocery store. We also walked to the beach and it wasn't bad, maybe a little over a mile. Nice condo, good price. Owners very agreeable and easy to deal with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Spent five days of the spring break here - mostly playing board games! Of course skiing, learning snowboarding in nearby northstar, dinner at incline village, educational visit to sierra nevada college/UC Davis center etc was also good. But mostly it was the homey feeling cabin, warm bed that made our week. Snowing in late April (1-2 inch), sun at slopes, warmed my heart enough to do half of business ;) What can I say to John and Sharon other than thank you for sharing your cabin. Renting was smooth, quick and overall value for the money!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing.

Great condo to stay in for a fun weekend on the slopes. Minutes to Northstar Village and lots of great restaurants too. Very cozy beds and W/D is great for all those wet gloves!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained condo. The owners keep everything in good repair and the complex keeps the parking lots and walkways clear of snow. It's conveniently located--a short drive to the lake, Safeway, and various restaurants, and not far from the North Tahoe ski areas. We definitely recommend it and will stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently stayed here for a couple of days. The owners were extremely efficient, responsive, and helpful in setting up the reservation and returning the deposit afterwards. The condo itself is very well maintained, the beds were comfortable (bonus: electric blanket for the master bedroom), and it was well stocked with family games for the evening. The kitchen had all of the necessary utensils and pots/pans for making meals. It is extremely convenient to Northstar, grocery shopping, and restaurants. The price was right as well. There was a minor item which took a star away: the oven is original 1970s, and we ended up cooking our pizza for twice as long as expected... maybe it was just the altitude, but I don't think so. The onsite guest book had many positive entries, so I think many people have enjoyed staying there, and I think you will too.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We were five students on a ski trip, and the condo was perfect for us. It is very pleasant and relaxing, and well stocked (kitchen, towels) as mentioned in other reviews. The condo is at a great location - 2 minutes by car from the lake and safeway, 20 min or less from squaw ski resort (the way is beautiful) and closer to other resorts. In the condo there is a booklet with many of the activities around for all different aspects - winter/summer/kids etc. Importantly, the owners of the place are very nice. This was felt by the phone interactions we had before the trip as well as their prompt followup on emails and returning of the security deposit, even though they were on a trip of their own at the time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our first visit to Lake Tahoe and found your condo to be comfortable for our family of 3 plus a dog. My 5 year old daughter said it was her best vacation ever (we were just in Hawaii in September!). The location was perfect for the north Tahoe resorts. The condo was perfect for 4 people. Located close to restaurans, stores, casinos, but off the main track enough to be quiet and relaxing. Walked down the street and went sledding and played in the snow. Best Christmas we've had in a long time. Thanks. Cool house. Well stocked. Clean and nicely decorated - my wife could not find the switch for a while not me :) Excellent transaction. Since it is winter time the Non-Gas fireplace is the only "non green" aspect in the house. We stayed in the condo in the middle of July. The condo is very comfortable and very clean. It was fully stocked with cooking items and supplies. Tons of towels! The entire Kingswood Village is very quite, and the condo is located at the quite end of the village. We loved spending morning and evenings on the porch. The lake and very nice beach are only a mile away. There is great hiking and bike path near by. The pool is cozy and well maintained. The unit was very cozy and inviting. We made note of how clean and well stocked the unit was upon arrival. All the amenities of home. The beds were most comfortable, so much so that even our 6 year old told us the night we returned that the bed in Tahoe was more comfortable and she wanted to go back! This condo is very comfortable and clean. We found it fully stocked with cooking items and staples. It was conveniently located near the lake with an easy drive to Tahoe City.
