In Charleston, we name our houses, and this one is named, Sweetgrass House. It is a quaint 1,200 Sq.Ft., 1 BR, 2 1/2 bath townhome in Quiet Residential Neighborhood. Beautiful Hardwood Floors, filled with antiques, rugs and paintings. The garden is set up for relaxing, reading, cooking supper on the grill. The house has a wood fireplace, that makes a cozy fire to settle up by. Sweetgrass House is Within 1 mile of Grocery Stores, many Restaurants, office supply stores, Movie Theatre’s and the USS Yorktown.
Less than 10 minutes to Downtown Historic Charleston and approximately 5 minutes to the Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island beaches. We are also within 5 minutes drive to the start of the Cooper River Bridge Run event (which occurs each March or April).
Great safe location for Walking, Jogging, Biking, etc. There is a Neighborhood pool and fitness center. The french doors open out onto the courtyard, that is full of flowers, ferns, birds and the fragrance of the Magnolias when they are in bloom. There is plenty of parking out front. We have two bicycles for your use to ride on the beach, to Old Village Mt. Pleasant, or to take to ride downtown Charleston. Also, two sea kayaks to put in to enjoy the salt marshes, the creeks, along the coast. There are several restaurants along Shem Creek where the shrimp boats are located, where you can dock the kayaks for lunch or afternoon drinks watching the sunset.
