The sunsets are a postcard view. Platte Lake is an all sports 2,500 acre lake with small mouth bass, pike, walleye and pan fish.
Vacationers can kayak or canoe from the property to the through the Platte River to the shores of Lake Michigan.

The Sunset Lodge has a 120 feet of frontage on Big Platte Lake. The dock has an available boat lift and hoists for 2 jet skis. Two kayaks and a paddle boat are available for your use. If you have a larger party, the Bunk House is available for 2 more adults and The Loft has room for 4 in 2 King size beds. The family room has projection TV with cable and a DVD player to watch your favorite movies at night. There is wireless internet if you need to check your email or surf the net. The main cottage has a new water softener with a reverse osmosis system. The fire pit is one that will not be forgotten.
