The house is great for family get togethers. The knotty pine paneling & accents, along with the nice furnishings, create a warm & comfortable atmoshphere. The abundance of windows offer a bright and open living area with nice views.
-the entry level has a newly remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, new lighting and hardwood floors. The living room has a stone fireplace & 3 couches & pine entertainment center with television and dvd player. there is also a bathroom on the main level with a clawsfoot tub. There is a sunroom off of the family room which leads to a slider out to the deck. The sunroom has a double bed and loungechair(acts as a 5th bedroom)
-Downstairs is the laundry room and a door to the fenced in backyard which is access to the hot-tub
-upstairs is the master bedroom with a queen bed, with a bathroom remodel which includes a large step in tiled shower and new granite on the vanity, the bedroom has filtered views of Lake Tahoe. The second room is also upstairs and has a queen bed with a single bunk on top and views of the lake.
-The third bedroom is detached to the main house and is above the garage which is great for privacy. This room has a bathroom a queen bed and very nice views of the lake.
-fourth bedroom is detached to the main house and is below the garage. It has a small deck in front which leads to the hot tub. It also has a bathroom and a couch and a queen bed with a single bunk on top. Great room for the kids, not the real little ones. It has a great open feel with lots of windows and views of the trees, a forest setting.

Wonderful home that was clean and ready when we arrived. Loved the guest suite above and below the garage for extra privacy. We enjoyed a short walk down to the private beach which was lovely! Great breakfast place just down the street called Fire Sign that was delicious! The hot tub was spotless, licomfortable and right out the lower back door. The fenced in yard gave us an extra sense of privacy. We loved the home and would highly recommend it to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

After close to a year of planning we finally got the whole family up to Tahoe for a week long vacation. We were pretty dissapointed when we got settled in. Overall the cabin was average on first glance, but when taking a closer look, things were not up to par. Most of the windows did not open, the wood around the frames appeard to be rotting, one winodw almost fell out of the frame when opened. The hot tub did not look clean enough to use, there was no cable as advertised, the DVD player in the detached area was not hooked up, the path to the detached house was hard to get to in the dark, the shower curtain fell down on me when I was taking a shower, and some of the lights didn't work in the detached house, including the lights that were to illuminate the stairs going to the upper level. The #1 concern was the complate lack of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the house. The kitchen and the location was nice, but overall, for the amount we paid, I don't feel that we got our money's worth, and we will not be returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We were up there for the Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time. The house is very nice and is close to everything. And the hot tub was great after a cold day in the snow.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
