Juan (the owner) is a nice person and was helpfull to get us comfortable in the house. Together we went from Guayaquil to the beachhouse. We Stayed in the beach house for 8 days with three adults and a child. Our stay was great and the people on sight where nice and helpfull. The location and beach is a good place to stay and very private. There wasnt any internet connection as advertised, but upon our request the wireless internet was fixed rapidly on our arrival day. Its a good place to have a car to do some sideseeing. A perfect startingplace for a trip on Route del Sol. As a European i am still not used to Latin/Ecuadorian ways. Lets just say, being on time for an appointment, is not a strong point in the Latin Culture. it was a bit disturbing that Juan kept us waiting for more then an hour in Guayaquil to repay our security/damage deposit. We had a wonderful stay at the marenar villa. Property appeared to be the nicest one on this section of beach. Staff and cook provided were excellent and really made our stay special. We would highly recommend having the cook service. Ours was very professional.Ocean was so close. Our only decisions were whether to swim in the ocean or the pool and what we wanted for next meal. We needed a bit of help with transportation, and the only problem was the internet was not working. However we were able to access wifi at a place down the beach when needed. Weather was perfect while we were there. Juan was helpful in bringing us from the airport and checking to make sure everything was ok, as well as showing us where to get groceries, etc. We plan on returning and would stay here again.Owner response: Thank you guys!
