We live in Ewa Beach because it is the Sunny Side of the Island. We are close to beaches for surfing and just relaxing and playing.

Hale Kaiewa has lots of extras for your enjoyment. There are coolers, beach towels, beach chairs, surfboards, boogie boards and beach toys. I try to provide everything so you don't have to buy or bring alot of extras.

Our family of five (three teenagers) stayed here and had a great time. It's centrally located to all the sites of Oahu. The house had everything we could possibly need...the snorkel gear and boogie board were the final touch! Most importantly, it was clean, quiet, had all the modern touches and kept the Hawaiian feel. I would go back in a second - and I will definitely recommend this to other families. It was definitely better than the pictures. Ewa Beach doesn't have the best beaches, but the West and North shores were a short drive and had everything you could ever want.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family of 6 adults, 1 college student and 1 5-year old traveled to Oahu our first Hawaii Christmas Vacation. I was nervous making the reservation without ever visiting the house or location. Our family was Very Pleasantly surprised how wonderful the house turned out to be. We loved the covered patio that allowed us to sit out side and enjoy the warm weather, even though it was raining at times. The pool was great to have when you didn't want to venture out to find those crowded beaches. It was also wonderful to have the amenities of a home like beach chairs, towels, boogie board and cooler to take with you on our island adventures. It was a nice retreat from the hectic Honolulu and Waikiki scene. Plenty of room for all of us and we could have even fit more.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
