Our home on St. John Virgin Islands is for rent ($2500-$4100 (Contact us for Christmas/Easter rate)). "Seaview" is a bright and airy four bedroom, three bath hillside vacation home with pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Overlooking the sparkling Caribbean waters of Chocolate Hole Bay, it is convenient to shopping and restaurants in Cruz Bay, and to the fabled USVI National Park beaches. Views of St. Croix and the Caribbean.
New: We have just replaced the deck and pool railings with a gorgeous LED-lit new railing system. The photos will be updated shortly.

Sea View’s open floor plan is perfect for both couples and family groups, with the inviting Great Room serving as the central gathering place. The living room area is designed for comfort, and offers some of the best views in the house! The fully equipped kitchen has room for both cooks and assistants, and the counter-bar offers convenient seating for spectators.
The dining area seats eight at the table, or guests can dine alfresco on the deck. Wireless/Wired high speed Internet is available, along with computer printer, entertainment center audio/video devices.
Sea View’s two master suites, located at opposite ends of the main floor, provide for maximum privacy. Decorated in bright West Indian colors, they both open onto the Pool Deck and feature king beds, air-conditioning, full bathrooms, and wonderful views. The pool is 10' X 30' and is on the main floor level.
The two lower-level bedrooms, decorated in the deep blues and aquamarines of the Caribbean, share a full bath and shady private patio. They feature king beds (each of which can also be made up as twins), and are fully air-conditioned.
Sea View’s floor plan makes it an ideal house for two-four couples or families with children. It's main-floor accessibility also makes it an excellent choice for guests who prefer a home with no stairs to negotiate.

Why the Owner Chose Chocolate Hole
We have been vacationing on St. John since 1970, at Caneel Bay (while we could afford it!). St. John is such a wonderful semi-undiscovered area, with 2/3 of the island being national park. We looked at houses for years, always disappointed by a missing feature, or the wrong kind of construction, or poor condition. Seaview is the perfect place...pool on the main house level, open plan, great view, iguanas on the deck.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The pool is great! Everyone can be together on the deck, in the pool, or in the house, which has 6 10' tall glass doors opening on the pool deck. The land iguanas feed in the trees by the deck, and often are seen on the deck or in the trees. We have privileged information about the hiking trails on St. John, many of which are not public knowledge but are maintained by the Trail Bandit. We also have extensive snorkeling and scuba advice, as we're avid snorkelers/divers and know where to go to have the best underwater experience and the least crowds. There is an extensive information book with all sorts of useful information, restaurant ratings, snorkeling and hiking maps, etc.

What a pleasure to write a review of this lovely property. The arrangement of two masters up and two other bedrooms on the lower level make it perfect for family or couples. The setting is so beautiful and floating in the pool and looking out at Chocolate Hole with an adult beverage in my hand is my idea of paradise. The location is particularly appealing because it is quiet but close to town and shopping. The information about local beaches was especially helpful as our biggest decision of the day was where to snorkle. I would definitely recommend this comfortable, well maintained home for a week or a month.

We have been returning to this property for 8 years. We generally go with a group of family and friends and everyone has been very happy. The pool is perfect for a post beach dip with a cocktail while watching the sunset. The rooms are large and the kitchen/living area is wonderful for cooking and socializing. It is just far enough out of town and in the perfect spot on the road to avoid driving through town to get to the other side of the island. We will certainly be going back again.

We have been staying at this house every time we go to St. John since we found it 8 years ago! This split level 4 bedroom is perfect for our family and a few friends. It is close to the Westin and town, but just far enough away to be quiet with a great view to the south over Chocolate Hole. The pool on the deck is perfect for reading by, cocktails after a day at the beaches and waking up with the iguanas hanging out by the water. With 2 beds upstairs and 2 downstairs, it is easy for everyone to get some privacy from time to time. Each bedroom has its own air conditioner which is also a very nice feature. The house has everything you need while you are on the island except for groceries and snorkeling gear. We have been really pleased with the house and the things that the owners have done over the years to accommodate renters like: all kitchen supplies, beach chairs, wireless internet, a printer, stereo and iPod cables, movies, books, guidebooks and the list goes on. Thanks for the good times... as you know by now, we will be back again next year!

We stayed at Villa Seaview this spring and had a terrific time. The house is so beautiful and so functional. The pool deck is right outside the huge screened doors and on the main level with the two master suites. We liked the privacy and the convenience, being only 1.5 miles from Cruz Bay. The owners' house book has history of the island, information about beaches, including some that are not known to most of the tourists, where to snorkel and scuba off the beach. The kitchen was very well-equipped -- we even did some baking. There were beach chairs and coolers and even some snorkeling equipment. The high-speed internet worked well, as did the digital cable/tv. Our kids were in the other two bedrooms and had their own private deck. Everyone had fun with the iguanas that sometimes come to the pool and hang out in the trees just off the deck. The best part: the house was so inexpensive compared to all the others we researched! We'll be back
