Imagine waking up to the sunrise peeking through your blinds, with the sound of Aransas Bay lapping underneath your bedroom. Get up, make yourself a cup of coffee and then sit on the deck and watch the sailboats and dolphins cruise by. Feeling frisky? How about walking 15 feet to the beach and going for a swim in the bay. Hungry? Put out the crab pots and catch some blue crabs for lunch. Don't want crabs for lunch, then walk to the marina and let the marina restaurant fix you something, as you sit on their deck looking at all the boats tied up in the harbor. Oh, while you are at the marina, why not take the kids tubing at the Rockport ski basin.
Our home was designed for comfortable family seaside living, with large and open rooms and a focus on the bay.

- Key Allegro Island is the premier community in Rockport. The Aransas County Airport is a short drive to the edge of town if you plan on arriving by small plane. Fishing boat rentals are available at Cove Harbor just South of town. Whooping crane boat tours are available in the winter at Rockport Harbor.

Rockport is a great place to enjoy sailing, fishing and hunting. We have a sailboat at the Key Allegro Marina which we cruise and race on Aransas Bay.

This is a home built by my parents to satisfy their love of being on the water. Our home has provided our family with wonderful memories of Rockport for the last 30 years. My sister and I maintain this home to keep those memories going for our 3rd and 4th generation family members.

This home is absolutely gorgeous, tastefully decorated and well-maintained. The house has a great layout and was designed for gracious entertaining. The large deck, with a spectacular ocean view, is perfect for lounging or dolphin watching. With the ocean breeze, the deck is cool enough for dining al fresco even in the heat of summer. The owner is very helpful answering any questions. I would highly recommend this property. We love it!! Why would you want to stay anywhere else in Rockport?
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Listing description was accurate. Photos accurately reflect rental appearance. Property was clean and well maintained. Owner very helpful in answering questions. I would recommend this property to others. I would stay there again. The owner followed up with us to make sure all was going well, and we were comfortable. Good shops and restaurants are located within convenient distances from this location. The beach is good for family activities. Good fishing and guides are readily available.

My stay in Key Allegro was wonderful! I enjoyed staying at this house, with its huge back porch that looks over the water. Inside the house, the furniture is comfortable and luxurious. In the mornings, I sipped coffee on the back porch before taking a walk/jog around the neighborhood. During the day, I watched TV and occassionaly watched the ships going by through the telescope. (Very cool!) In the evenings, I went out to dinner. There are several nice restaurants very nearby that have great seafood. One day I went to Aransas Bay to shop and eat. All and all, it was a great trip, and I can't wait to go back!!!
