All this and conveniently located about 5 miles to Downtown Blue Ridge. Large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin has been professionally decorated and has lots of extras. Featuring big wrap around porches, Great room and open concept kitchen with granite counters. Large entertaining room in the comfortably furnished basement perfect for relaxing and watching the theater style flat screen tv. The house is more beautiful than the pictures! You will be surprised and delighted! It is well-maintained and immaculate. Each of the 3 floors have their own bedroom suite (bedroom and full bath). Two of the floors have full size kitchens and laundry rooms with upgraded appliances. The kitchens are nicely stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. The decks offer beautiful views and wonderful seating areas (tables, chairs, rockers), including a screened-in porch on one of the levels. The jacuzzi and sauna are very clean and ready to use. The beds are comfie with nice, soft linens. The baths are stocked with plenty of towels. The walking trails to the fire pit and creek are nicely lit. The fireplaces are perfect on a cool autumn night. The ceiling fans kept the house very comfortable during the warm autumn days. The house and the property are beautiful, extremely quiet, comfortable, and calming. The TV's have plenty of channels. The bookshelf is nicely stocked with DVD's and books. I lost a humiliating 3 games of pool on the high quality pool table due to my lack of skill and my competitor's high level of skill! The town of Blue Ridge is a beautiful 10 mile drive away where you can get groceries (or maybe something you accidentially left at home), shop, and dine. Wi-Fi signal is strong. We had no issues our internet connections. Cell services are weak in the area (we had 4 cell phones on 4 different networks (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and Cellular South) and all of the signals were weak and would periodically fade to no signal. However, we had strong cell signals as we got closer to Blue Ridge and plenty of signal (on all the networks) in town. If you need a reason to unplug and unwind, not having a cell signal is a beautiful thing! The owner was very responsive to my inquires and questions. Note: Follow the driving directions that are emailed to you - NOT the directions you mapped on the internet and/or your GPS (Thank you, Garmin for the "mule path"). No, seriously - trust me on this! :) We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
