Pine Lodge, at an altitude of 3,000 feet, is set in three acres of gently sloping mountainside with a stream and a view down the valley and beyond to Black Rock Mountain. Inside you will find a spacious open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a welcoming living room. The Master bedroom, with queen bed, is conveniently located on the main level along with a guest bedroom furnished with two single beds. For anyone seeking accessibility, there is easy access into the house from the carport and can live comfortably on this level of the cabin.
Upstairs, is a relaxing light filled reading area furnished with a queen sized futon and small library. The large bedroom with two single beds set up as a king bed and a comfortable seating area is the perfect place to drink in the fantastic views. If you are an early riser, this is an ideal place to have a cup of coffee and catch the early morning mist in the valley below.
Pine Lodge, located in Rabun Gap, is a convenient 10 minute trip to the historic downtown Clayton, with its quaint shops, restaurants and full range of amenities.
Rabun Gap is less than two hours from Atlanta, a short 45 minutes from Cherokee and 1 ½ hours from The Biltmore House in Asheville NC. Our local area has gorgeous state parks, pristine lakes, wonderful hiking and fishing, fantastic music festivals, interesting antique, art and specialty shops, award winning wineries, golf courses, gem mining, horseback riding and whitewater rafting on the world famous Chattooga River and so much more. Pine Lodge itself is only minutes from all the area has to offer.
Rock your cares away under the covered porch or take in the sunset on the deck off the master bedroom. In the evening, delight in the flickering luminescence of fireflies or enjoy the warmth of a fire in the stone fireplace.
