The Cabin at Kilkelly's is a newly construction custom cedar log cabin with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Access to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway at Bamboo Gap is only a third of a mile away, and the in-town shops and restaurants of Blowing Rock and Boone are minutes away. With upscale furnishings and amenities, The Cabin surrounds you with warmth and elegance in a totally private setting.
Enjoy roaming the 20 private acres of Forest, Fields and Gardens leading to the 'Main House'. The property is located on the Daniel Boone Trail, and an easy 2-mile hike takes you to nearby cascades. The Cabin offers total privacy, yet your hosts are available to give suggestions, directions and help make your stay more enjoyable. We are a rental cabin with a bed and breakfast flair!

Why the Owner Chose Boone
We are fortunate to live on a beautiful ridge that joins the Blue Ridge Parkway, midway between Blowing Rock and Boone. Wanting to share with others our magnificent year-round views of the mountains, we designed and built this very special log cabin on a private bluff further out on our ridge and well apart from our main house. It is our goal to provide our visitors with a rare combination of luxurious surroundings in the midst of some of the most rugged mountain beauty in the Appalachian Mountains.

This log cabin was everything was more than we could of expected. The view was breathtaking just as the pictures displayed on the website. The inside of this cabin is to die for. It has cedar wood interior (walls, ceilings, etc.), hardwood floors, tile, stainless steel appliances, etc. It has all the amenities you would get if you were in your own home and then some!! The owners are the nicest people, their hospitality exceeded our expectations and we loved this property so much we booked a weekend getaway for next month. You will not find nicer people not to mention a log cabin to to caliber. We had so much fun on the shuffle board table and hanging out on both of the decks looking out at the blue ridge mountains. I would recommend this to anyone that is heading up to the mountains for a weekend getaway. Would recommend the Bistro Roca to dine at. Food was excellent.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

You are living my dream! Absolutely perfection in design and furnishings. WE all loved the place. WE will be back very soon for snow! It was in the 60's, no sleds this trip. View is fantastic. Kids loved the tire swing. I have to put one up at home soon. Thank you from us all!
