I LIIIIIIKE!! We eat lots of cheese. And drink the wine. And in the morning we wake up and watch the sun destroy the clouds. We walk into the forest and find no hillbilly Gypsys. We come back for sure :-)

My wife and I spent an incredible 4 days in this little slice of heaven. Views are amazing, and you feel like you are the only ones on the mountain. Joanie and Gary take pride in providing a magnificent experience, and pay attention to every detail. All creature comforts are available, and you can roam the many acres as if in your own special garden of Eden. My wife and I were able to escape the daily grind to reunite our love. Can't say enough good things. We plan on returning.

This log cabin was everything was more than we could of expected. The view was breathtaking just as the pictures displayed on the website. The inside of this cabin is to die for. It has cedar wood interior (walls, ceilings, etc.), hardwood floors, tile, stainless steel appliances, etc. It has all the amenities you would get if you were in your own home and then some!! The owners are the nicest people, their hospitality exceeded our expectations and we loved this property so much we booked a weekend getaway for next month. You will not find nicer people not to mention a log cabin to to caliber. We had so much fun on the shuffle board table and hanging out on both of the decks looking out at the blue ridge mountains. I would recommend this to anyone that is heading up to the mountains for a weekend getaway. Would recommend the Bistro Roca to dine at. Food was excellent.

You are living my dream! Absolutely perfection in design and furnishings. WE all loved the place. WE will be back very soon for snow! It was in the 60's, no sleds this trip. View is fantastic. Kids loved the tire swing. I have to put one up at home soon. Thank you from us all!

Our stay here was unbelievable, well exceeded our expectations. From the moment we met both of you, we felt a warmth and a gracious welcome that only grew as the week progressed. The little touches inside and out are too numerous to mention. You thought of everything from the welcome basket to the rememberance stones. And then to top it off, the great homemade pizza!! We were so fortunate to have 5 beautiful sunny days to take in the breathtaking views and sights. We will never forget our stay at the Kilkelly's cabin "our home away from home". We plan to come back.

This is our third stay and it just keeps getting better. Gary and Joanie are such great hosts, the Dixon's were great company and of course the cabin is exceptional. We had a couple of days of rainy weather, but it was intriguing to watch the fronts move across the mountains. I saw the prettiest rainbow that spanned the ridges and only added to the memories I have of the Kilkelly's cabin. Till next time,...

Thanks you for sharing your incredible treasure with us. This was our second visit and we ceratinly hope it will not be our last. The more time we spend in the cabin the more time we appreciate what you have done to make it beautiful as well as functional. The positioning of the house on the site and the views from the windows could not be more perfect. The color this week was perfect and the views from the cabin changed daily. The weather was amazing as we went from unlimited views to not seeing past the fence. Our stay was capped off by a double rainbow you could almost reach out and touch.

Another amazing stay. Cabin and property is just like we remembered. Cascades were well worth it again, although no cave exploration this trip. The only negative is that you have made it so nice here, none of us want to leave. Can hardly wait until our next visit. Thanks you both! Happy 21st to you and 18th to us!!

After a long cold winter in Buffalo, it was wonderful to vacation here with our best friends - who now live in Fort Mill, SC. There was warmth everywhere - from our good friends- our kind and gracious hosts, warm weather, fire and hot tub and the coziest beds we have slept on. It was fun baking our annual strawberry rhubarb pie here. watching birds I have never seen before. The kids loved the swing and shuffleboard game! This weekend has felt like "heaven on earth"! Thank you for creating a place that others can enjoy which brings comfort and solitude. We feel very blessed!

The cabin surpassed our expectations in every way. Every detail, every convenience was well planned. The location, the privacy, and most importantly, the views were simply stunning. Pictures do not do it justice. From the added extras like a rope swing, horseshoes, fire pit, sizable collection of Blu-rays, toiletries, EVERY kitchen appliance, cooking essentials and spices, to the kindness of owners in giving a gift basket of local coffee and honey on our honeymoon, we could not imagine a better week. WE are already planning to return for our one year anniversary and every one thereafter!

The cabin was home for a week, peaceful, serene, comfy with incredible views, fantastic sunrises, birds chirping and great night slumber. Perfect getaway with my sisters. Everything we needed.
