We stayed here twice this year and plan to stay here each time we visit Kentucky. Everything is perfect and beautiful. The house is extremely cozy and comfortable. The beds are so comfy that we had some of the best sleep there ever. We even still talk about how soft and comfy the bed pillows were and we are trying to figure out what kind they are so we can get some of our own ;) We were able to relax in the home at night and visit each of our favorite places in Lexington, Bardstown and other surrounding areas with ease. The owner makes everything so easy for checking in and out and we feel that this is our new favorite place to stay.

This was our second time at this property, and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. We stayed for the week of Thanksgiving & could not have had a better time. The layout of the house is perfect-- our adult son was able to stay with us, and have his own private wing of the house. Our two dogs spent most of their time in the yard, enjoying the sheep in the back & the horses next door. Visiting various places in the Bluegrass was easy & convenient, and it was nice to have a comfortable home to come back to each day. We truly were sad to pack up the car & leave! If you're looking for a great home base to relax in and entertain while exploring this beautiful part of the country, this is definitely the house to do it in! The owner is such a pleasure to know & makes you feel like an old friend. We will definitely visit again!

Our stay at this property was very pleasant and met all our needs. My son was getting married, I am from out of town and needed a place to hold a small rehearsal dinner. The floor plan is open and conducive to entertaining. The owner was more than accommodating to meet all our needs and very pleasant. If I ever need a place to stay in Lexington again, I would definitely rent this house again.
Owner response:We are so glad that you had a good time, and that the rehearsal dinner had good weather! I hope that your new daughter in law as well as son have fond memories of this day for years to come!

We traveled from Charlotte, NC to meet our dear friends from Chicago for a summer reunion. Lexington was the 1/2 way point and this house was perfect for 2 moms and 4 boys! Our kids loved our beautiful horse neighbors and the fenced backyard was a great place to catch fireflies. Everything was immaculate and well stocked. We had a blast exploring the Kentucky Horse Park which is literally right down the street. The house is also very central to many other fun Lexington adventures. We cannot wait to start planning for next summer!
Owner response:We hope that you return for many years to come! Without good guests our house would serve no purpose! I hope we helped shed a good light on our beautiful Kentucky!

Would highly recommend this property to anyone! We wanted to do some days tours on our motorcycles, and found the location to be ideal! It was literally 5 mins off I-75, very easy to get to, and very easy to tour around the beautiful Lexington area. The house was gorgeous. The kitchen has all modern appliances, and it was large. The house was tastefully decorated throughout, and very clean! The house has a 2 car garage which fit our motorcycles perfectly! We really, really enjoyed our stay at this house. I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone. We are already planning our trip for next year, and it will include this house once again!!!! Thanks again, we had a great time!!!!
Owner response:Perfect house guests! Left house in perfect condition! Hope to have you back again!

We rented this property for a family gathering and it was outstanding! The home is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is perfect, and the beds were super comfortable. Our dogs loved the yard and the walks down the road to see the horses. We enjoyed the back patio in the evening, watching the sunset and listening to all of the birds. The ewe and her baby were an added delight. My entire family enjoyed their stay, and we had more than ample room for entertaining guests for a graduation party. The owner is very personable and welcoming, and the home is impeccably maintained. We were so close to Old Friends, the Horse Park & Downtown. We will definitely be back! The only complaint we can possibly muster is that we did not have enough time to read all of the wonderful books placed throughout the house! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!
Owner response:I hope to have you back! Perfect renters, house was left in perfect condition! Had I not seen the dogs would have not known they existed!

We loved this property so much that we returned this year. The house may look like an ordinary brick ranch, but the interior is lovely, efficient, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The fenced back yard and sunroom are a bonus for us, since we travel with dogs. We're looking forward to renting next year.
Owner response:Hope to have you again! Thanks for the kind words!

While the house may not be fancy, it was clean and comfortable. We were treated like family and all our needs attended to promptly and with a smile. We enjoyed the Kentucky hospitality and feeling like we were with family and friends there. We plan to return so that we can have a little more time just relaxing and enjoying all that the area has to offer. When we do, we will be asking to stay there again. Thanks for the memories and hospitality!!
Owner response:Thanks for the kind review! I hope to see my new friends again in the future!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family stay; everyone enjoyed viewing the racing and farming memorabilia and the view of the farm. The renovations are outstanding, beds more than comfortable, and the fact that the house is off the main road makes for a peaceful stay.
