A comfortable King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa are perfect for a good night's rest. The Kitchen is complete with everything you need to enjoy dining inside or on the balcony. All linens, bath towels, and washcloths are provided.
TV's, DVD Player, and High Speed Internet connection make this condo a relaxing home away from home. The condo has a wireless router for wire free computing or bring your Cat 5 ethernet cable if you'd rather plug in. The Bedroom has a Samsung 32" FlatScreen with a Blu-Ray player.
The El Matador is a family friendly oriented retreat which is conveniently located to several restaurants and shops. The Okaloosa Island Pier is a 2 mile walk and Destin is only 6 miles away. This island prohibits condos greater than 6 floors so it is much less crowded than Destin and surrounding beaches. However, you are just a 5-10 minute drive from some of the nicest restaurants in the Florida Panhandle.
The condo is adjacent to 17 miles of undeveloped beach (a rare find these days) which is ideal for long walks and collecting sea shells. Many a romance began walking on this tropical beach next to crystal clear turquoise and aqua marine waters. Simply Breathtaking.
The EL Matador is a superb family friendly complex with two beautiful swimming pools, two tennis courts, large grass courtyards ideal for kids to play on, a beautiful gazebo on the beach, an exercise room overlooking one of the pools, two jetted whirlpools and saunas, and many other features like outdoor grill areas and surf fishing. The property also has 24 hour Security on site.

Great Family Trip!

Our family of four throughly enjoyed our visit to this condo and the El Matador overall. With young kids, we felt comfortable and safe about the kids playing at the beach and the two pools. The extra security of having the gated entrance as well as the fact the condo is at the end of the beach, gave us a sense of calm and safety. The open grass areas were nice for the kids to play in and it was an extra perk to have the washer and dryer rignt near our room. The owner was super to work with and worked hard to communicate with us as needed. Wonderful vacation. Would do it again without a doubt.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.
