As you step through the front double doors of this home you look through a custom built 8’ x 10’ salt water aquarium and not only do you see beautiful tropical fish but the San Francisco Bay on the other side. To the right there is a grand circular stairway that leads up to the living quarters. To the left you see a 5’ bronze statue of dolphins playing in the ocean. The first floor is expansive with a 20’ ceiling, hardwood floors, a large circular balcony from the living quarters above and a fire place that lights up with a touch of a button.
The living room has 9’ circular windows overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The 5’ bronze telescope gives you a birds eye view of the San Francisco City front and the Golden Gate Bridge. The floor is hardwood with a custom round rug that fits the decor of large round pillars attached archway with a fireplace and a circular wall that divides the living room and the dinning room. Large sliding glass doors let you step out into the back yard 50’ from the bay. A 60” large screen TV and sound system give you the ability to enjoy entertainment while watching the sunset over the San Francisco Skyline.
The dining room has its own fireplace and dinning room table that seats 8. The hard wood floors and circular 9’ windows overlooking the bay make dinning a memorable occasion. There are large double glass doors that open out to the backyard and bay. The bar that separates the dinning room and the kitchen seats 4 and make conversation with friends while cooking a treat. Under the stainless steel bar are glass bricks with recessed lighting that sets the mood.
When you step down into the large kitchen you notice a custom mosaic design etched into the floor. While cooking you can see a panoramic view of the bay and the sunset going down over the San Francisco Bay. The recessed lights in the floor, cabinets and ceiling give the kitchen a relaxing and creative effect. The granite counter tops and glass inlaid cabinets help to make preparing food easy and fun. The beautiful commercial grade gas stove top, oven, dishwasher, built in microwave and large refrigerator/freezer will assist you in entertaining large groups.
As you step outside you will notice a large rock coy pond just under the circular windows. As you step down into the grassy backyard you can’t help but see a fantastic view of the San Francisco Bay and all of its surroundings. The backyard is maintained with local species of vegetation that blends into the natural surroundings of the shoreline. Between the backyard and the San Francisco Bay is a 50’ natural area that has a winding trail for running, walking or biking. This is a favorite spot for locals to walk along the bay or nature groups to have excursions to view the natural animals, fish and birds in the area. This part of the bay is a bird sanctuary and is frequently photographed by Audobaughn clubs.
As you wind up the circular staircase you come to the top and will see double doors leading into a massive master bedroom. With 8’ circular windows you will first get a great view of the bay below and the city of San Francisco. A glass desk with computer and workspace overlooks the bay. A large rounded wall has draws and cabinets at the bottom and a large theater screen at the top. To the right is a California King Size bed that lets you lay down and get a full view of the San Francisco Bay. The room is furnished with a hand carved statue of a woman and a full length mirror that not only gives you your reflection but the bay behind you.
A 10 minute walk along the bay gets you to Harbor Bays private ferry terminal. This ferry takes you on a spectacular 21 minute ride across the San Francisco Bay to the clock tower at the end of Market Street and base of the San Francisco City financial district. From there the whole bay area opens up with ferries’, trolley cars, under ground trains and the Bay Area Transit system. San Francisco and all of its attractions are at your finger tips. Express buses a few minute walk from our home will also take you to the City of San Francisco or the BART train system.
