Our mountain retreat is just the right combination of being "at home" and being "on vacation".
With two bedrooms on separate levels, the home provides privacy for every guest. The master bedroom, tucked away downstairs with its own deck, is spacious enough for a 4 poster bed, a flat screen TV and a rocking chair sitting area. The master bath has a large Jacuzzi tub.
One level up, the guest bedroom has two twin beds and its own private deck.
A few stairs takes you to the main floor of the house, with its fieldstone, wood burning fireplace, large flat screen and bookshelves stocked with games, books, maps and more. The brand new stainless steel kitchen is open to the tiled counter for quick breakfasts or snacks.
Everything you'll need to cook country breakfasts to gourmet dinners is included and at your fingertips.
The dining room seats 6 and leads to the main deck and your world-class mountain view. On the deck you'll find a teak dining table, Adirondack chairs and a barbeque.
Just down the hill is Fairfield Lake, with its hiking trail and the re-designed Sapphire National Golf Course. A short ride takes you to the Clubhouse, activity center and great restaurants and shopping. A full sized grocery store is a 5 minute ride.
