The Neptune house is everything Steve describes in his listing, and more.The house's layout and design are superb, making it impossible not to spread out and relax. A truly relaxing oasis in the heartland!

This house was amazing!! Our family and friends had the greatest week ever, no joke!! The house is unbelievable, from decor to space and comfort. You have plenty of room to be together in groups or be alone and relax. The pontoon boat was great as well and best idea ever! The lake is beautiful and the beaches are a blast! Steve is very easy going and a great host-Thanks for the ice!!! We all want to plan the same trip next year we had such a great time. Our kids from ages 3-11 had the best time and we didn't have to go anywhere else to entertain them! Thanks again Steve!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful vacation in Neptune. This home makes an ideal vacation get away. Architecture is fentastic, every detail has been very meticuluosly designed and maintained. One in particular is the ceiling fans in the living area. Our kids had a blast. Picture and website say a lot but you have to visit to believe this million dolar home, it is way beyond expectations. Steve and family take very good care of the renters. We will be going back soon.

Steve was delightful to work with and very helpful. He gave us a full tour when we arrived, we started in the kichen and when I saw a BIG drawer entirely filled with any kind of spice you could possibly need I knew this house had everything! The kitchen is fabulous, the sun room gorgous (complete with binoculars to look out at the lake), and the master bedroom and bath beyond belief and that is just the first floor. Every light switch has a riostat, a very nice feature. We were there for a long weekend family gathering and there was plenty of room for all of us. For my Mom and I the 3 flights of stairs were a bit much, but we mainly stayed on the first floor which has everything we needed. The lower level rec room and bar area was great for the young adults. There are TV's everywhere so it did not matter where you were in the house there was TV access plus an entire house sound system. The photos in the listing cannot possibly do this house justice. The only thing missing that we would have liked is a hot tub. It is a very well maintained property with more amenites than I have space to write about. I would definately recommend this house to anyone wanting a wonderful getaway. I am unable to recommend community activities as we did not leave the house. We did all of our own cooking, which is half the fun to be gathered together in the kitchen. It was a great family outing with LOTS of fun and laughter. Thank you Steve for sharing this beautiful house.

There are very few things in life that ever live up to the hype! When my Wife and I walked into this house for the first time it exceeded any and all hopes we had. We planned a very special getaway to celebrate our five year anniversary with some of our dearest friends and what helped put it over the top was this house. Are their other places in Iowa to go and have a good time? Maybe. But I would say that the thing that makes this home the best spot to go in Iowa is the attiude of the property owners. They made us feel as though we owned the house. They went above and beyond excellent service to make sure that we enjoyed our time. Honestly for my wife and I, they have become our friends, and I know they will make you feel the same way. My one piece of advice don't be afraid to ask if they can make something happen to make your experience unforgettable. Because chances are they can!

What an awesome way to spend our 15th wedding anniversary! We could not have planned for a more enjoyable time. Everything was spectacular and Steve (Owner) is far and away one of the greatest hosts I've ever met. He went above and beyond to insure we had a fabulous time celebrating our marriage milestone. Consider us regulars!! This house is incredible. Brand new, fantastic design, wired for music throughout, breathtaking views and a deck on every level, including the crows nest!! We highly recommend!
