My wife, two year old son, and in laws stayed here for four nights. Upon entering the house and walking through, we were overjoyed at the size and amenities. The house was plenty big for all of us. My son loved the kids room and the toys. My wife really loved the master bath. My in laws loved the view from the back porch and the comfortable living area ith fireplace. I loved everything, including a central location along hwy1, and especially the reasonable cost. Definitely are great value compared to a hotel. The owner was very easy to work with.

We found the house in good condition, love the kitchen and master bedroom location, overall it is very clean. You need to bring your own blow dryer though.

Our three-generation family arrived at this house for the holidays. The house is spacious, bright, tidy, and clean. The owner does a great job maintaining the house as a vacation rental. Plenty of videos and games for family fun. It is just a great place to hang out with your loved ones. I appreciated the smooth and efficient communication with the owner over e-mails. The town of Half Moon Bay has some good restaurants if you want to eat out. The beaches and grocery stores are within 10 minutes' drive. The house is within easy access from both SFO and Oakland airport.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My wife and I had been to the Montara area many years ago and wanted to share that experience with our children. Finding this house was a blessing. It is located in a great neighborhood with quick access to highway 1 that takes you north to San Francisco or south to Monterey. The house has everything you need for a nice family vacation. Plenty of space and comfortable. We all slept like babies in the beds...they were just right! The residence is only minutes away from Princeton Harbor and many fine eating establishments. Montara beach is just a couple of blocks away and is a very scenic beach to spend the day at. You can be in San Francisco in 20 minutes or so and along that drive from the house is some of the most scenic ocean views you will ever see. Fitzgerald wildlife preserve is only minutes away. There you can explore tide pools and view harbor seals in the wild. Just a few more minutes south you can see Half Moon Bay and drive just a few more minutes to Pescadero from there. Again the house is a great starting point of travel and is centrally located to the best of the area. To sum it up I would say this was a very nice place to stay with comfy beds, tons of movies to watch on those days off, plenty of kitchen if you decide to dine in, a view of the ocean from the back balcony, and a convenient location.
