Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1959
I am an entrepreneur, educator and technologist who has spent summers in Dublin, New Hampshire for 50 years.
Why the Owner Chose Dublin
We selected this location because it is the best hilltop view in Dublin of 220 degrees unobstructed to the horizon. Mount Monadnock is on the right and the hills of Peterborough are on the left. You can see almost 30 miles to the south barely being able to identify a house in the view. Often during the summer you can see fireworks displays. On moonless nights the stars are like the one that you used to see before pollution and smog
The Unique Benefits of this House
Since the house is a single level and the living room has floor to ceiling glassed windows, you can enjoy the view and conversation with friends by a wood stove. For me, the baby grand piano makes it Paradise that many spontaneously name it. My wife is an artist and we truly believe that we have an alternative to the MacDowell Colony. The baby grand piano is wonderful.
