I am a registered nurse and reside in Indian Wells,Ca. The log home in Fawnskin is my complete get-a-way for relaxation,hiking on the beautiful trails with my dog Clifford(brown standard poodle). Fishing from the dock or pontoon boat, reading,writing,browsing thru the antique shops in fawnskin and Big Bear. Amangelos has the best ever sandwiches to try!
Why the Owner Chose Fawnskin
I have been going to Big Bear my whole life. This is where my 3 sons have taken skiing lessons,golf lessons and snowboarding. My husband is an avid golfer and lake arrowhead is minutes away for 18 rounds of great golf and a terrific club to be a member of. This property is 1hour and 45 minutes from our home in Indian Wells,so we are able to go at any time without lots of planning--this makes it so easy and fun!
The Unique Benefits of this Log Home
I really enjoy the location of the log home. It is adjacent to Captain John's Marina in Fawnskin,Ca. Lots of festivities are held here. There are picnic tables for people to enjoy who are sight-seeing for the day or week-end. In the winter time this area is actually closed off as it is a Bald-headed Eagle Habitat. I can watch from the deck and spot the Eagles! I like the fact the entire yard area is chain-linked fenced.Children can play and pets can romp and roam and still be in sight for adults to see. The wildlife is beautiful here. Bluejays,squirrels, baby wrens have just been born and are in the birdhouse out back!
