Our vacation property is situated on the Hamilton Branch, the Best fishing on the Lake. You will have direct access to the Branch on our private sloping trail. The private boat launch is also available to our guests. You may also use the Big Springs picnic area, for fishing and swimming.
The property is fenced for your privacy and security for those with children. Access to the cabin is by stairs. The view is of the lovely gardens and the biggest trees you have ever seen.
The cabin has an open kitchen and living area. There is 1 bedroom with 1 retreat and 1 bathroom, also a trundle bed. The decor is beautiful with hard wood floors in the living area and granite counters in the kitchen. The bedrooms are carpeted. There is a cute little propane fire place to keep you warm. The cabin is warmly furnished with a fishing theme. We provide bed linens and towels. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and accessories.
We have a grassy area on the property, where we picnic, play croquet, and rest in the hammock. There is an outdoor fire pit, where you tell those great camp stories. There is also a propane barbecue available for your use.
We have been fishing, hunting and shopping in the Lake Almanor area for over 20 years. We are fortunate to be able to live in this beautiful Great Outdoors. (Yes we have the movie too).
We can guide you to the best fishing on the lake for fly fishing or conventional fishing. Also during the fall, deer hunting, bow or rifle. And of course antiquing or browsing.
There is much to do if you like or much resting to do if you need. We look forward to meeting you. I am sure you will have a wonderful, relaxing time in our cozy RETREAT.
