  This home is a great location in the Florida Keys. It is exactly as they tell you in the listing. It isn't fancy but its clean and has what is needed if you aren't going to be in the house all vacation. We loved it being on the dock and water. There were a lot of kids fishing in the mornings and families having fun. The location is very central for the Keys. Its an easy afternoon trip to Key West and the other keys without staying there. The one thing I'd warn you of is that the staff at the resort are very rude. You can use the swimming pools but you need to keep it quiet that you aren't renting through the resort. The staff demands a room number to allow you to pay for food and drinks with your credit card. The resort is clearly in trouble since so many owners are renting their homes on VRBO. I've traveled all over the world and spent much of my career in hospitality and I've never encountered a resort that was this rude. Usually they are just so happy to have any money that there isn't a problem.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  What a beautiful place to spend time with friends and family. Thank you for sharing with us your amazing views and villa ~ we all wished we could have stayed another week (oh how work gets in the way). Definitely recommend this home for relaxation and great times.

  The villa was very clean and was exactly how the owners described it. I was most thrilled with a couple extra things that weren't mentioned. The entire upstairs flooring had been replaced with new wood floors with a nice "beachy" feel. We spent a lot of time on the back deck, so I was also happy with the new outdoor furniture. The owners helped me a lot with planning our vacation and were great to deal with. This is a great value compared to renting directly through the resort. LL-

  First, I couldn't disagree more with the previous review. We are experienced travelers and felt we received a great value for a great villa. The description made it clear what you will receive and I thought it was accurate. We started to book directly through the resort and was quoted nearly 3 times what this unit was! For the money, we found it to be perfect! The owners really seemed to go out of their way to make our stay nice. Thanks a million!!

  I just wanted to let you the wonderful time we had at your Villla.Located in Hawk's Cay, located in Duck Key, FL. It is Location, Location, Location, It was perfect for us as our daughter stayed at the main resort. She got married their on Wednesday. The main resort is located right around the corner so we could walk to it, without getting in our car. Again location, we did not realize we would have a private dock to have boat. The dock was incredible to fish from, my husband is a passionate fisherman. He caught so many fish, our daughter and him had a fishing contest to see who could catch the most fish, we used the fishing equipment in the Villa as did not know we would have access to such a beautiful dock or that matter great fishing by stepping out the back door. The balcony on the second floor, the view at night sitting there and having a nightcap, looking out over the water was such a memorable experience. The resort itself has so much to offer. Our newest granddaughter had a session with the dolphins, she so enjoyed her experience feeding them. It is located on the resort property. I can see why our daughter choose this resort, it has everything you would want for a tropical wedding, which was her theme. We would come back in a heartbeat and stay in your Villa as it has so much to offer.

  We enjoyed our stay. For what we paid, I can not complain. The place could use a little TLC- I would recommend placing doors on the downstairs bedroom so there is some privacy and fixing the bed, screened doors did not work and the blinds in the upstairs bedroom did not work well. I would stay again.

  our stay was enjoyable for the price we paid the rental was acceptable doors wouldbe recommended for the downstairs bedroom and the bed should b replaced we were expecting 2 masters. carpet is little old extrra light bulbs would be useful some of the slider creens didnit work place just needs a little tlc but it would not stop me from coming back.

  This villa is so run down and poor condition, the listing states 2 king beds there is only 1. It really is a 2 bedroom villa but the dining room has a queen bed in it off the kitchen...there is no door or dresser or anything else in the room. The mattress is old and needs to be replaced. The downstairs toilet is not even bolted to the floor so it moves when you sit on it. The AC sounds like a freight train running thru the villa and most of the lights don't work or have bad bulbs in them. When we arrived it was filthy. There is even a broken broom in the corner. The sofas are cheap and one of the chairs in the dining area is broken. There are barely any dishes in the cabinets and the kitchen had 1 potholder. The only GOOD thing was the amount of towels. The kitchen counters have chunks of formica missing...VERY disappointing condition NOT worth the money we paid. I would not recommend this property to anyone...it will ruin your entire vacation as it did mine. I should have known when we arrived and the door was open to beware. The owner did not even offer to refund any money after I was a victim of FALSE advertising...

  Owner response: We welcome suggestions on how to make our guest's stay more enjoyable. Without feedback we'll never know what to fix! We prefer our guests to give us a chance to address any problems during their stay, this is why we leave several contact numbers. VRBO Owners can't help their guests if they don't let them know. A thorough inspection has been made of the unit since this feedback. All issues that were real have been fixed or replaced (I found the toilet was loose, the a/c handler needed replaced and the broom was broken). Others could have been easily resolved had the guest looked in other cabinets for more dishes & pot holders. We are quick to respond to maintenance issues and will go out of our way, day or night, to make your stay more comfortable. All that I ask is that you give me a chance to remedy the problem. In this case, I was not afforded that opportunity to make it right. Our photo's are current and should allow you to make a good decision on what the unit looks like.
