Located on 6 1/2 private acres, our home is located near a number of Cape Cod Bay beaches, with easy access to shopping, ice cream parlors and an authentic general store, galleries, the Natural History Museum as well as the Cape Cod Rail Bike trails. A great, safe and peaceful location for kids to roam, away from busy roads and congestion.
Rental Prices and Seasons: We are relatively new to Homeaway, having first advertised beginning in the Summer of 2009. We are uncertain if we will offer Winter Rentals. If you are interested, please e-mail us. Rentals are generally Saturday to Saturday.
The Property : This is truly a unique piece of property. You are literally not able to see any neighbors during the Spring, Summer and Fall. The drive is long, giving you the impression that there is no one else around, but if you wish, you can experience all the excitement the Cape has to offer in no time. You can also sit on the lawn, sip your coffee in the AM and feel like you are nowhere near the hubbub of your everyday lives. Pets are fine, but we ask they they not stay in the house (we have a large breezeway) and it is a wonderful, safe spot for kids. We have many bikes of varying vintage for your use.
The House: The house is solid, which is not to say it is not very comfortable. It does mean that we do not have wall to wall white carpet that will make those with kids cringe. You can spill without hitting the panic button, and we have had more than a few Lobster Races across the kitchen floor over the years. There is no AC, but there are fans and we have never felt the need for AC. We do have cable and wireless internet, (although may find it most peaceful not to let the kids know it is there) and a 'library' of some classic VHS movies, as well as many books. We do not have a phone, as we have found almost all have cell phones. The TV does not have a DVD player... best bring your own or a computer/laptop for those movies. There is an outdoor shower. We recently converted half of the garage into a 'bunkhouse', with 5 beds. Great for the kids.

This house is one of the best rentals we ever stayed in. It's obvious that the owners love and take care of this place. It has all the amenities of home and more!. Very clean, very comfortable and private. Beaches and attractions are minutes away. We also drove to Provincetown which was about an hour away. What you see is what you get with this great property...and it has a lot to offer. This is old Cape Cod at its best...just minutes away from the action, yet quiet and removed from the hustle of the touristy Cape. The house is huge...lots of room for a big family or even two...It is made to be lived in and comes fully equipped. We needed WIFI for our laptop, and the owner had it specially installed for us. And the privacy offfered on the property is spectacular! Our dogs literally had a field day on more than 7 private acres of land. We hope to go back to this property again...and again! (with friends and family in tow.)Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Owned by two sisters and thier families, with a combined brood of 8 kids, we have vacationed at this house for 15 years. It is a great house for two families, with many memories of feasts, plays, campfires and ballgames on the lawn.
Why the Owner Chose West Brewster:
You will not find a similar property. It is secluded yet close to the action, on a large parcel of land far from the road. A 'piece of paradise' equidistant from an old fashioned general store, Kates Fried Food and Ice Cream, a Dunkin Donuts and Lukes Liquors. And oh yes, those beautiful Cape Cod Bay beaches!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Large yard, with safe location for kids and pets to play. The house is very comfortable and sturdy, all on one floor. We recently renovated half of the garage to make a 'bunkhouse' for those kids that want to be on the other side of the house from we 'grownups'.
