A Hill Country themed retreat located in the private resort village of Point Venture on Lake Travis, just 30 miles from Austin, Marble Falls and close to the best Hill Country destinations. Lake Travis is a beautiful lake with 44,000 acres of cool, clean and clear water. There is plenty of room for boating and water sports plus many coves where you can swim and relax. Come enjoy relaxing Point Venture - a gorgeous peninsula featuring a 50 acre waterfront park with boat ramps, golf, tennis, and swimming pool. The Pier floating restaurant, with live music on weekends, is just a minute drive away.
Our spacious three-bedroom townhome is located on the waters edge of Lake Travis. Enjoy incredible views of the lake from almost every room in this large townhome. On the main level there is a large living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, full bath, shaded deck and an additional sleeping area (sleeper sofa). On the upper level are two bedrooms, one with four bunk beds, which are great for the kids, and an additional deck. This adds up to beds for up to 10. Both decks have high-back patio chairs.
You can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake while relaxing on the decks. Deer roam freely in the early morning and evening hours. There is a gently sloping rock and grassy area leading to the lake and our private boat dock. Here you can keep your boat, try you luck at fishing, or just go for a swim.
As a guest of ours, there are many activities to choose from right in the subdivision of Point Venture. The Point Venture nine hole golf course features a practice putting green, driving range, and pro shop. Other activities include an Olympic sized pool, six tennis courts (four are lighted), and a 50 acre waterfront park (with two boat ramps). The Point Venture Marina provides full service such as a fuel dock, a store, and The Pier (a floating restaurant). There are watercraft rentals located across the lake at Lakeway Marina and are easily accessible (they will pick you up from our dock!)
