We hope you enjoy Long Beach Island as much as we do.
We have been vacationing here since my father built this house in 1953. It is one of the few homes left with a private yard, deck, patio, gardens and trees.
A traditional beach house with knotty pine paneling and cabinets, recently updated with Pergo wood floors. Many of the lamps and tables were built by my father and feature something unique from the island (i.e. driftwood lamp). It is a split level type design. It has 3 bedrooms. Two BR up 3 steps each having 2 twin beds. Another bedroom in back of house down 3 steps with a queen size bed and a twin size trundle.
What started out as a summer vacation home turned into a year-round home for my parents in their later years. The cedar trees that surround the house are 40 years old.
You can leave your car at home and walk to stores, shops, restaurants and ice cream. Bring your bikes and roller-blades, there are wide shoulders and it's all flat. Boat ramp is located at the end of West 10th street.
Due to town ordnances, there are no large hotels or entertainment centers. Barnegat Light is a quiet, family town where you can feel safe to walk with your kids, as generations of our family have for almost 60 years.

Why the Owner Chose Barnegat Light
This is a split level family home with an addition in the back. It was designed and built by our father, Bill Davis, in 1953. He built it in sections in his garage in Scotch Plains, NJ, and brought it down on a rented flat-bed truck. In two weeks we had a house.

Talk a walk up this historic lighthouse, climb to the top and see for miles.
This museum is the old school house and houses the original lens from the Lighthouse. It also has some great old photos of hotels and the railroad that once existed.
Get your fresh fish from Cassidy's on the docks along with fresh Produce from Frank's. Check out the charming shops at Viking Village in the old fishing shacks.
Just over the Boulevard you can use the public playground, skate park, tennis and basketball courts and the baseball field.
You'll find the Inlet Deli on 4th Street, Kelly's Family Restaurant at the Lighthouse serving all day and Dairy Queen ice cream and Andy's Bait/Tackle and gift shop. You can also fish off the end of
Classic five and dime store and old fashioned diner.
No, they are not in the same building but across the street. A little something for everyone.
Best brownies in town, meat selection is good (head down Island to Oakies if you need something special). Good for last minute needs but can be a little pricey.
