Enjoy Litchfield County at its finest! Relaxing sun filled days, antiques, wineries, farm stands and markets, fabulous foods and natural beauty. This area is the best kept secret in the Northeast and it's beautiful here.
The house has been remodeled with a new kitchen and new bathrooms. The kitchen is completely equipped for cooking if that is what you enjoy. There are many farm stands and farmer's markets in the area - one of which is right around the corner from the house. If you prefer to dine out, there are numerous, fabulous restaurants in the area and several wineries.
The house is on one acre in a quiet country setting accessible to Washington, New Preston, Litchfield and Woodbury. Your stay can be as relaxing or as active as you like during all seasons. Spring through fall are my favorites due the number of festivals throughout the area. There is a sun porch for breakfast or drinks and a deck where you can enjoy the outdoors.

I have always wanted to own a second home in Northwestern Connecticut. As a result, I want to share this area and my home with others. I consider this home to be a sanctuary. It's cozy and quiet and completely restful.
Why the Owner Chose Washington
This area is accessible to so many things. In addition to Washington, the surrounding towns are beautiful and have a lot to offer. New Preston, Kent and Litchfield are within a 15 minute drive.
The Unique Benefits of this House
I love everything the area has to offer including the outdoors, antiquing, and the restaurants are outstanding. I purchased a farm share locally from a farm that is within walking distance from the house. The people in the area are wonderful and the services provided in the town are excellent.
