This is a true beach cottage located on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet, just steps from the Garden City beach. The relaxed and inviting atmosphere alleviate any stress that you bring with you. Heart pine vaulted ceilings give a spacious, airy feeling to the warm, laid back living area. There are two screened porches: One is located on the front of the house with glimpses of the Atlantic Ocean and the other is on the back with panoramic views of Murrells Inlet (See photos) All this at such a low price!! This may be the best deal you will have the opportunity to choose ever for a great beach vacation.
Being on the Inlet makes many activities available that you would not easily be able to do in a beachfront home, kayaking, boating, swimming, crabbing, fishing, shrimping. This property has its own personal dock with a floating dock directly on the water. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, range, and microwave oven. Cabinets with most kitchen necessities are available. A separate dining room with a dining table makes eating in a pleasure.
There are 3 queen beds and two single beds. Cable TV in each room and wireless internet will enable you to keep in touch with the world if you decide to do so. You could relax right here for the whole week or take advantage of the many activities the area has to offer. Ten golf courses are located within a ten mile radius; one is only 3 miles away. Shopping malls, outlet stores, antique shops, and quaint local shopping like the Pawley's Island Hammock complex are minutes away. Amusement parks, two State Parks, Brookgreen gardens with a small zoo of locally found wildlife, miniature golf, bowling, movie theaters, parasailing, surfing, plantation tours, river tours, Broadway type shows, concerts, (too many things to list) are all within a few minutes. The famous Murrells Inlet restaurant district with the Inlet boardwalk is only 3 miles by car or across the inlet by boat. It is a great location that will give you the choice of trying to do some of everything or absolutely nothing!

Why the Owner Chose Garden City Beach
The location on the water in Murrells Inlet with a dock for a boat and water deep enough even at low tide to get in and out of the Inlet was the key factor. From the dock the ocean is easily accessible with a boat. The beautiful sunset views over the water are not available in any other Myrtle Beach community. It is close enough to the beach to see the sunrise over the beach and then watch it set over the Inlet. Also being close enough to the beach to walk to the beach and not have to worry about parking is a huge factor. It is also located on a dead end road so the through traffic in Garden City does not drive by the house. The lot is naturally high which gives a beautiful view of the Inlet and access to it to swim, fish, boat, kayak, etc,,,
The Unique Benefits at this House
Having the boat dock with access to the water in beautiful Murrells Inlet adds so many added opportunities to enjoy your vacation. Boats, jet skies, kayaks, golf carts, and bicycles are all available nearby for rent. And Murrells Inlet is famous for its wonderful seafood restaurants and boardwalk with nighttime entertainment. There are ten golf courses available within a 10 mile radius with one only 3 miles away. Movie theaters are only 3 miles away. And beautiful Garden City Beach is only steps away. There are many shopping venues from Coastal Grande and Inlet Square malls to Tanger outlets, Broadway at the beach, or for the more laid back, the unique world famous Pawleys Island Hammock Complex, Litchfield Beach. Brookgreen Gardens, the world's largest outdoor sculpture garden, is only 20 minutes away. Historic Georgetown, SC with it's plantations, pirate ship tours, and waterfront restaurants is only 26 miles(about 39 minutes.) Downtown Charleston is 85 miles(Just under 2 hours away) with numerous plantation, garden, and river tours nearby. If you prefer to stay fit indoors there are several gyms nearby. The house is in a very quiet family beach area. So, it is your choice to do everything or absolutely nothing!!

This is a photo of my husband and myself with our son's dog, Buddy, a Boykin Spaniel, which is the South Carolina State Breed. We raised four children and love being near the water. We chose this house on the Inlet waterfront because we were looking for a place that had a dock for the boat which you cannot have on the ocean front. We love the sunsets and taking sunset cruises on the Inlet and walking on the beach. My husband gets up many times to see the sunrise on the beach. Every Easter I join him on the beach for the Easter Sunrise service.
