Lovely Weekend Get-Away in Charming Country Farmhouse
Guest: City Dweller

This is a charming country farmhouse that was designed with heart, an artistic eye, and an understanding of the import of environmental consciousness. The owner greeted us graciously and provided a tour of the exceptionally clean and quaint home and attached renovated barn (which would be delightful for company retreats, family reunion BBQ's, and country-style weddings, etc). The views are soothing and the atmosphere relaxing. It is highly recommended as a quiet get-way from the hectic city dwelling lifestyle and a refreshing change from typical hotel lodging.
Owner response:We loved having you! Come back anytime to escape the hectic life of New Jersey :)

My friends and I had an amazing New Year's weekend in the beautiful Medusa Farmhouse. The house is sizable and definitely large enough to accommodate 8 people comfortably and still able to give everyone enough private space. Enjoy the beautiful mountain and lake views and if the weather is nice enjoy the outdoor patio area. Between the surround sound system, rainfall shower head and high end touches we were able to ring in the new year with style. Can't wait to return!

This is the perfect getaway. The house is located near a beautiful lake and waking up with the view on the lake was just amazing. The place is tastefully decorated and has a lot to offer offer (board games, great kitchen, hot tub, and a fireplace). We were there for thanksgiving with a group of friends and we had a wonderful time. Also, the owner is very nice and helpful, she gave us great recommendations and she wants make sure that you have an enjoyable stay. Thanks Angela!

We rented Full Moon for a girls weekend away to celebrate my sister-in-law's upcoming wedding. Angela was there when we arrived and offered a home-made iced coffee and a tour around the property; it was a very welcoming start to a great weekend. The house is warm and inviting with plenty of room for a group to stay. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance and cooking utensil you could possibly need and the linens provided were really comfy. The property is beautiful; the grill is great for outdoor barbecues and the patio has a fire pit to sit by at night. The general store in Medusa is really close and offers lots of local and organic necessities; the owners are friendly and able to offer lots of information about the area. The house and surrounding property is great if you are looking for a quiet retreat to relax and enjoy time with family or friends...

Our stay at this quaint farmhouse was very relaxing! The farm is located in a very small town where everyone is very friendly. We really enjoyed the natural beauty of the area around the farmhouse and especially the nearby hiking trail overlooking the beautiful waterfalls. The farmhouse is located an hour and half away from the famed Hall of Fame in Cooperstown which is a great place for any baseball fan:)))

We spent a wonderful weekend at this charming farm house. The house was clean, modern and full of natural sunlight. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and the property manager was very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing! It was a real treat for city people like us! We will definitely come back!

We recently spent three nights in Medusa at this peaceful house for a New Year's holiday. The house was simple yet adorned with interesting artwork. With eight adults, we were all able to sleep comfortably. The well supplied kitchen (as well as meats and eggs from a local farm) provided us with the tools to make delicious dinners. Thanks for a restful weekend!
Owner response:Thanks so much Sarah! We loved having you. Come back anytime.

Had a great time with my friends here over a weekend. The time flew by and felt like a long weekend. We made great use of the BBQ, very much enjoyed the owner's iPod, Trivial Pursuit and of course the hot tub. Charming property, beautifully decorated and on a super peaceful road. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire enjoying the solitude. Location is accessible to waterfalls, lakes and forests, including Kaaterskill falls. The owner was a joy to deal with and I definitely plan on coming back.
Owner response:Thank you so much! We loved, loved, loved hosting you and yours. You were an absolute dream. Come back anytime, we will always make room for you.

A party of 8. Sun, rain, wind, and fires by night. Women weekend warriors living and loving life in the country. A beautiful respite from a wearing life. Full of heart.
Owner response:Thank you Sarah! Your poetic review is one in a million, just like you are. Your kind emails over the weekend praising the location and our property were deeply appreciated, especially since you didn't have to. Please come back soon!
