Our condo is located in the quiet town of Navarre Beach where there is little traffic, and lots of relaxing to be done. It is conveniently located near Pensacola and Destin, for those who want to enjoy some sight seeing, shopping, a wide variety of restaurants.
Summerwind consists of 3 buildings. All of the amenities are on the Gulf side. Each building has its own pool and hot tub. And even the state of the art fitness room overlooks the gulf. The beach service offers chairs and umbrellas, as well as a few other fun things to enjoy on the beach. Banana Beach store, located in the middle building offers smoothies, snacks and and a variety of gift items.
Our unit has only had one owner, we have only been renting our condo out for just over a year. ILocated in the West building, it is immaculately clean and decorated to feel like home. The master bedroom features a king size bed and a patio door with a balcony that overlooks miles of ocean and pure white sand beach. The guest room is very spacious, and has 2 beds, one double, and one queen. It has it's own door to the walk through bathroom. Each bedroom has its own TV. The full kitchen has all that a person could want or need, and the family room has plenty of comfortable seating, a 32 inch HD TV, and a patio door that leads to a balcony furnished with patio furniture, and an exquisite view of the beach and ocean.
A free public boat launch with parking is located directly across the street. This will give access to the bay/sound. Please note that you will have to travel approximately 15 miles by water to reach the open ocean.
The Navarre Beach Pier recently opened and is located next to the Summerwind Resort. This pier is the longest pier in the state of Florida. You may walk or fish from the pier. Cost to walk is $1; cost to fish is $7; fishing rod rental is $7. The pier also has a gift shop, bait and tackle shop, snack bar (hamburgers, hot dogs. chicken sandwiches, ice cream, sodas) and bar (beer and wine).
Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed! Renters must be 25 years of age or older.

Our condo is co-owned by my husband and I, and my husband's parents. We have 3 kids, ages 23, 19 and 14. We all live in Minnesota, and thoroughly enjoy getting away to sunny Florida, and the beautiful sand beaches of Navarre Beach to escape the cold winter. Whether it is for a week or a month, it is always so relaxing and enjoyable.
Why the Owner Chose Summerwind
We had often dreamed of owning a condo in Florida, as we have vacationed there every year since our kids were little. This one sort of fell in our lap. We had never even been to Navarre Beach when we learned of this opportunity, and fell in love with it upon first sight. The area is quiet, yet there is plenty to do close by. Navarre Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches, with lots of great shelling and the softest white sand. Our kids love to go between the pool, hot tub and ocean. It is just what we love to get out of a vacation.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
It is very clean, beautifully decorated, and has that personal "touch of home" as we like to think of it as our "home away from home." Since my husband's parents have spent extended periods of time there in the winter, it has just about every convenience a person could possibly want or need.

We totally enjoyed our week, the condo is excellent. Very comfortable, and the beds sleep very nice. The furnishings are fantastic, and the patio furniture completed our wish list. We didn't come for the food so much, but we found plenty of places to eat without busting our budget. We came for the fun, sun, surf, beach, sand, pool (with 3 we couldn't go wrong), floating, water boarding, snorkeling, and did I mention fun. We loved the location of the condo to everything we wanted to do.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Condo is great! Lots of room for large groups! The best part was getting off the elevator and the door to the condo is right there. Only 4 floors up so not a long wait for an elevator, 3 pools and hot tubs - not crowded - loved it had a great time!!! Condo was especially nice as the Master Bedroom was spacious as is the Master Bath. I felt like I was at home.
