PORT Aransas is famous for deep sea fishing, coastal beaches, Seafood Restaurants, and small village atmosphere. Just 30 minutes to Corpus Christi takes you to Texas State Aquarium, the famous USS Lexington ( the most famous U.S. aircraft carrier), museums, golf courses, and much more.
For additional sporting activity you can watch the Ice Rayz (pro Ice Hockey team) during the winter or watch the Coastal Bend Aviators (pro Baseball - class A) in near by Robstown or the CC HOOKS , a new AA professional baseball team located in Corpus Christi affiliated with the HOUSTON ASTROS during the summer.
