It is meant for those looking for an alternative to a hotel and to not plunk down a lot of money just to lay their head down when where they really want to spend there money is doing things. The house is centrally located to have access to many amenities of Mason County but also be close to Olympia.

Hello, My husband is a long time resident of Shelton and after we married in 2006 we noticed that Shelton could only offer fancy vacation homes to rent or a hotel to stay in. There was nothing for the adventurers who just want a home away from home. Our little home is located in the heart of Historic Shelton on a quiet street that corners a dead end street. It is within walking distance to good restaurants, fancy coffee shops, grocery, post office, library, court houses, gift shops, 3 parks. And not far from the hospital, marina, 2 athletic clubs. And less than an hour to great hiking spots, kayaking (guided too), boating, 3 golf courses (1 in PGA-Class), 3 wineries, numerous lakes both motorized and non-motorized. There is much to explore here in Mason County. This house offers the comforts of home to lay your head down. Nothing fancy, no huge price tag. Includes phone, Comcast Cable and Comcast High Speed Internet at no extra charge. (Pay Per View Movies-Not Included)You'll find this a great resting spot to recharge your 'batteries' for the next adventure!

It has a large yard and is close to everything! It is a lovely street to walk lots of trees and the house butts up real close to a hill side preventing a lot of traffic from coming by.
