  We stayed at this cabin last weekend and had such an awesome time! Kids of all ages would enjoy this place because there is a creek behind the cabin, outdoor firepit for roasting marshmallows and lots of space inside and out to run and play! Adults would enjoy all of these amenities with the addition of the pool table and hot tub. The cabin is very clean with plenty of bedrooms for sleeping multiple families. It is also a great location because it is close to apple orchards, pumpkin farms and downtown ellijay! We will be going back every year:)

  Friends and I drove up after work from Atlanta and spent the weekend relaxing. It was the perfect place to grill out, hike, build a fire, play pool, watch movies and just chill. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms a HUGE kitchen and family-style dining room table. Great place to be all together, or let everyone do something different! The cabin was clean, well furnished and beautiful!

  The Turtle Creek cabin was exactly as it was represented on the website, gorgeous and immaculate. The rooms were the perfect size and extremely cozy, we were all very pleased. Our family had an amazing time, whether it was fun in the game room, enjoying the hot tub or relaxing by the fire pit. We especially loved the beautiful views and quick stroll down to the creek. If you are entertaining the idea of a cabin getaway, definitely stay at the Turtle Creek.

  We stayed 2 nights and had a fantastic time at this cabin. It was beautiful, spacious, and had tons of games to keep the kids and adults happy. The grill and firepit were great! We can't wait to stay there again.

  We had a bachelor party at the cabin, and 11 guys were present. It was an excellent weekend away from town. We particularly enjoyed the poker table and the pool table. The mini bar on the landing made for a nice secondary location for refreshments so that we didn't have to go downstairs repeatedly. The rooms are somewhat small except for the master, and the bunk beds are more suited for a room full of kids than my friends in their mid-20s. :) But, with the 3 extra pull out couches, everyone was accommodated. This cabin would be great for 3-4 couples. The place was very clean when we arrived, with plenty of towels, cups, and pretty much everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evening when it was cool. Overall we were excited when we got there, and we were not let down. Booking the cabin was extremely easy. I spoke with the owner, and she answered all of my questions either by phone or email. I arranged the trip for all 11 of us by myself, and I was reassured the whole way that we had made the right choice. I would recommend a stay here for anyone. It was winter and the trees were not blooming, so maybe we'll come back for summer. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and my friends are already talking about coming back with their wives for a couples trip. Thanks for a great time!

  Best option in Ellijay if you need a bigger place (sleeps up to 20). The firepit is our hangout for most of the weekend, but there is plenty to do indoors if the weather isn't cooperating.

  We had a great time at Turtle Creek. The cabin is just as pictured, if not better! It is very private and cozy. The children really enjoyed exploring the property and there was a huge fallen tree over the creek which was a favorite! We had a beautiful whitetail deer in the back yard and a very active red-headed woodpecker! There was plenty of space for our family and we spent lots of time in the gameroom and around the fire pit. Turtle Creek will certainly go down as one of our family's most memorable Christmas times!

  This cabin was amazing! We recently stayed in the Turtle Creek Cabin and had a fantastic time. The kitchen was big and supplied with all the cooking accessories you need. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and there is PLENTY of room! The loft area was great for kids to hang out and play while the adults were in the family room. Or, the downstairs game room was another great place to socialize, play pool, or watch tv. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub as well! The property is on a nice little area to do a little hike/walk along a creek which is perfect for little ones. The location was perfect as we attended the Apple Festival as well as a pumpkin patch, and apple orchards. The owner was very friendly, accommodating, and made the process simple. I would definitely recommend, and definitely stay here again!

  This is an excellent cabin. My husband, two children, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law and I all stayed here for Christmas. It was great! We all had plenty of room, so nobody got on anybody else's nerves. We will be back! The kids were constantly entertained and slept like rocks in the windowless bunk room. Had to actually wake them up on Christmas morning! The cabin was described accurately. The photos don't do it justice!! Our pictures of the creek are much better. There were so many cool waterfalls and little stairsteps on the creek. The kitchen was *extemely* well-equipped. There were more than enough linens for everybody. The hot tub was big enough for 3 adults without sharing too much personal space. This place has a load of games!! The pool table was perfect. There is an over-sized chess set in the loft game area, as well as a really cool dominos set. The view from the large jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom suite was really amazing, especially when it snowed! The owner and management company were both really wonderful about helping us out and answering questions, especially when we woke up on check-out day snowed in!! There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby if you need them. We cooked the whole time we were there. A word of advice: bring batteries! We had a few remotes that didn't work because they were out of batteries. The house was stocked with D's and C's, but no AA or AAA. We made due, but thought future guests might want to know. : ) We had a really great time!!
