That Lanai!

I have stayed at other properties of this owner before. All are beautifully appointed, beautifully maintained and convenient to area attractions. The biggest difference for me in this property is the extraordinary lanai and view. The unit is on the beach and with curtains pulled back you can enjoy the ocean while cooking, eating, resting, etc. Every morning I began the day with coffee on the lanai where I could not only see the ocean, but hear it as well. We have a couple of people in our family who cannot get too much sun. This lanai allows them to enjoy the beach experience without direct exposure to the sun. Fantastic!

My family and I just spent a week at this fabulous Azure condo in Fort Walton Beach. I researched at least a hundred condos throughout the Fort Walton and Destin areas before finally selecting this one. Upon our arrival we were not disappointed! The view of the ocean and beach was spectacular - we loved watching the sun rise and set from our balcony, as well as seeing dolphins at play (what a treat)! The condo is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, yet homey and spacious for our family of 6 ranging in ages from 8-68. The kitchen is nicely apppointed and well stocked with utensils, dishes, and cookware. Beautiful tile, granite counters, and a lovely master suite surpass the description in the listing - you have to see it to appreciate all the little extras! It was so convenient to walk straight down to the beach, where the "Cabana Boys" had our umbrella and chairs waiting for us each morning. The water is clean and clear (NO jellyfish!), and the sand is truly sugar white - it's like walking through soft powder puffs! The waves made for terrific boogie-boarding fun. At night our kids had a blast going on the beach with flashlights and sandbuckets to look for crabs. Azure's location is also convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Old Bay Steamer, which is literally across the street from Azure. We also enjoyed Dewey Destin's Harborside one evening; the kids loved watching the boats as we ate our dinner. There are numerous shops to visit in the harbor as well. During our vacation we went to the Gulfarium (skip it), deep-sea fishing (dad loved it), parasailing (a blast), snorkeling (really fun), sea shell hunting (kids loved it), and outlet mall shopping (mom loved it) and mini-golfing. Plus we ate and ate and ate SO much terrific seafood. Access to all of these activities is within 5-15 minutes of Azure. There is also a pier about a 1/4 mile away that is fun to walk on after a fabulous evening meal. We saw more dolphins at play there, and my husband rented a pole for a few dollars and caught some fish. The property's owner is friendly and very helpful, responding to texts, emails, and calls promptly (thanks, Sarah!). We didn't want to leave this little bit of paradise when our week was up. Our first visit to Florida was a huge success, and we definitely plan to return in the future!

We have been vacationing in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area for 7-years now and must say that this unit is by far the most beautiful accommodation we have had. The pool area and beach are just wonderful. It is convenient for everything in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area, restaurants, shopping, golf, Destin harbour, everything you would need. The owners are wonderful people to deal with and we will certainly recommend this accommodation to friends and relatives.

Mesmerizing Views

WOW!!!! We loved this place. The views from the balcony were great and the condo was much most than we expected. There were great restaurants, shopping malls and outlets for the adults. The children loved the water park, gooney golf and race cars. We will definitely tell our friends and family about this great vacation get-away.

Beautifully decorated condo that had everything we needed for our family to have a wonderful vacation at the beach. We loved the location because it was so close to Destin but without the traffic congestion. The beach and ocean were gorgeous. The water was so clear and we did not see any signs of oil. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at this rental in June and really enjoyed ourselves. The view from the balcony was just what the owners said it was. You won't find a more beautiful place on Ft. Walton Beach. We would definitely consider this condo again.

Everything as advertised and more

This property is exactly as advertised. After arriving, I had a few questions. The owner called me personally to not only solve an internet problem that I had with my computer, but to suggest a few places where we could go and relax after our trip. The condo is beautiful and we could not have picked a more central location to all we needed. I would heartily recommend this property to anyone, including my closest friends and family. The photos do not do the property justice. I hope to return one day.
