The Townhouse, Safe Harbor, is aptly named. You will be surrounded by the peaceful pine woods with English flower gardens, pine needles, and an outdoor family gathering room with a fire pit. Ambiance abounds. One full acre is nestled at the end of a cal-de-sack where children can ride bikes and run free safely. You are in ten minutes biking distance, five minutes by car to the beautiful Light House beach ocean side (bath houses/showers) for the glimmering sun soaked sand, thundering waves, and surrounding high dunes. You will pass by the historic three Sister’s Lighthouses and the actual Nauset Light House. You are the same distance from many bayside beaches where endless tidal flats and warm calm water invites you. If you prefer we have Herring Pond near by, where you can rent Kayaks on one side of the pond or on the other side you can enjoy the dock, picnic tables, benches, playground, and bath houses.
You are also five minutes to car drive to a family grocery store, sandwiches, pizza, beer and wine, fresh food market, Nauset hand-made ice cream, great deli, Dunkin Donuts, post office, Ben & Jerry’s, Light House mini golf, driving range, fitness center, pool, gym, bike rentals, two banks, and two gas stations.
You are also near the Wellfleet Drive in/ Cinema and the famous Wellfleet Flea-Market. Also, you are a five minute bike ride to the Cape Cod bike trail that takes you to Rock Harbor where deep sea charter boat rentals and fabulous sunsets with steel drums are available. You will be biking or hiking along an abandoned rail bed twenty miles Eastham to Dennis, passing salt marshes, cranberry bogs, and ponds. While all this is near-by Safe Harbor, is a one acre pine forest where you can lay back in a hammock and find all the peace you want.
Check in after four PM, check out will be ten AM Saturday. The deposit for the rental is $150, there is a $100 cleaning fee and the animal deposit is $100. Also there is a six person limit to how many people can stay at the house.
