Location:-Perfect- first block from the sand, nicest walk street in Venice :Close to everything. You can walk or bike to restaurants, basketball, skate boarding, boogie boarding, kite surfing, kayaking, sailing, deep sea fishing) 2 blocks from Santa Monica, bike a few to Venice Cannels, Marina del Ray small boat harbor. Only one block to: best restaurants, Gold's gym, palates, yoga. Close to Merry go round Pier, Venice Pavilion with new skate park,muscle beach, gymnastic equiptment handball courts,kiddy playground. Public golf course one mile east.
House is lovely, see video tour. Only two units on property, only one rented. Built 1905 and we have added all the conveniences of a new house. We furnish bikes (6 available), boogie boards (4), umbrellas, sand toys, and chairs, crib for baby.
Kitchen is new with new appliances: dishwasher, Miele cook top,3 ovens: convection, toaster and microwave ovens. There is a programmable coffee maker for mornings. Washer & dryer for your use only. Flat screen TV over 300 stations video recorder, HBO and Cinemax for movies. There is a charger with clock for I-pod. High speed internet 20 mega bites per second. Cotton linens, beach towels, etc. No expense was spared to make it beautiful and easy for you.
Two parking places if needed available immediatly behing the garden area, a real premium at the beach most hotels must send client to lots 2 -3 blocks away.

On the nicest walk street in Venice Location is prime. 1 block to the boardwalk and beach, 2 bl. to Gold’s gym, 1 to Main Street, ½ bl. to busses. Half way between the 10 and the 90 frys. Many good and great restaurants within a couple of blocks, two on the end of the block one a 4 star restaurant. Private gated "sanctuary" - see backyard photos.

Why the Owner Chose Venice Beach
The enery of art and creativity here is special. The weather is the best about 75 degrees all year long. No bugs like the tropics. Culture artistic developement are everywhere. All the new sports have come out of Southern California. Walking to the corner and having the beach there and still having access to a big city with all that is offered her in LA with Education and experimentation. Having the ocean breeze coming in with the sun shinning. Skating at sunset, biking everywhere up and down the coast. One can have their whole vacation without a car.
The Unique Benefits at this Home
There is so much within 20 mins of here and love having the beach, the bike path for biking and skating only 1/2 bl away. There are probably 25 resturants within 10 blocks various directions. Boogie boarding is great fun. The shops are not chains but unique and fun experience. Galleries and museums, Art is everywhere. The best place for people watching and photography. Being able to walk home from the beach for lunch, walking main street at night, sitting in the yard reading, or gardening or having a barbeque.Living on a walk stree in a residencial neighbor and where no cars drive or park in the front of the house.

Electrical, plumbing and remodel have been done to make this 100 year old house efficient and convenient for the user and it has kept the charm of the turn of the century. This house has wide wood molding, built in cabinets,5 stain glass windows and cabinets, 9'high ceiling. We have a business and art/design back ground and have made the house and garden areas as functional and beautiful as possible for your pleasure.
