This cozy cottage with views of water or woods from every window, has been completely refurbished. Recently new appliances grace the open galley kitchen. The downstairs bathroom, fresh and updated, still has the original claw foot tub as well as a separate shower.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: one double with deck access, and one California king which can be separated into twin beds, depending on your wishes. Between the bedrooms you'll find a compact full upstairs bathroom with shower. Downstairs offers a cozy single bedroom which is next to the large bathroom.
The house is situated on a knoll, so the sound of the surf and good sea breezes come through the bedroom skylights. In summer excellent cross ventilation will keep you cool and comfortable, as well as a ceiling fan in the larger bedroom. In the cooler shoulder seasons, surrounded by books and knotty pine walls, you can snuggle up next to the gas fireplace stove or turn on the heat.
The sunny, upstairs deck with surrounding benches has a privacy wall/gate separating it from an adjoining deck to an adjacent house. Available for limited times to previous tenants only,and in tandem it allows for an expanded companion rental (grandparents/inlaws/ friends)if desired.
Should your holiday include small children, the front picket fence will keep them safely confined and encloses a "beach" garden. The side yard is large enough to mount a bad mitten net, and contains a large picnic table (sits 8-10) and fire pit for marshmallow roasts.
Cross the sandy road to the open lot and beach access path and down the dune slope and there you are- ready for a refreshing swim at high tide, a loll on the provided loungers or a walk to explore the flats and collect shells at low tide. Or, view the kids at play, the sunset and ever changing tides from the bench which overlooks the beach.

We've been renting this property for two weeks each summer for several years. If you love Wellfleet, a perfect breeze sweeping across the Bay, a gourgeous view of Great Island and Jeremy Point, your own beach access close at hand, then this is the place for you. Simple classic cottage with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, comfortable beds and awesome views from the second floor deck.

My wife and two young daughters spent a wonderful week in this cottage and adjacent beach. While cozy, the cottage is large enough to spread out and enjoy its quiet alcoves with abundant comfortable chairs and beautiful views from every window. The owner has equipped the cottage as though she were living in it herself – a complement to her good taste – surrounded by quality amenities offering everything that the vacationer might need. We enjoyed walking through the beautiful front flower garden and down to the sandy beach that offered a variety of activities with the changing tide. We’ve seldom stayed anywhere as beautiful and well-equipped than this quaint property and we enjoyed our time there immensely.

We just came back from a wonderfull vacation on Cape Cod. This little cottage is everything it promises to be and much more. The location is incredible, the cottage is spotless and very well taken care off. Pepe, the owner, says she furnished it with her own daugter in mind, and it shows. It is a wonderful warm and lovely place. Dont't think it is precious though. We went there with our two kids and our dog and it was just great. The kids would cross the (unpaved) road and were on the beach, where would they stay for hours, swimming, collecting shells etc. If anybody wanted a sandwich we just went up again. The cottage has a great yard, it has a barbeque, it has anything you could wish for . It is truly a very special place. I am going to leave it at that , because we would love to be able to book it again next year . Have a great time

We are extremely pleased we chose this cottage for our vacation! The location is incredible - secluded, and just a few steps from the beach. The cottage is really charming! It is comfortable, very clean, with all the amenities of home. The bathroom has a beautiful antique tub, with a seperate new walk-in shower. The main bedroom has a large skylight, which provides a pleasant breeze, and a great view of the stars at night! In the kitchen, all new appliances throughout. Waterviews from everywhere in the house, and a great second floor deck. We highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!
