This is the rear unit of a newly remodeled duplex located, just east of Mt. Tabor Park, in a quiet neighborhood two blocks from the Montavilla Business District in SE Portland with an array of Restaurants and Bars, Shops, Movie Theater, Coffee Shop, Hot Tub Rental, Bike Rental, International Market and the Montavilla Farmer’s Market (Every Sunday, June 21 – Nov. 22). Safeway and Walgreen’s are also only three blocks away.

Book now for the holiday season! The rental is about an hour drive to Ski Resorts on Mt. Hood. Enjoy the slopes during the day and the city in the evening.

It is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Downtown Portland and 15 minutes from the Airport, with easy freeway access (I-205 & I-84), bicycle routes (bike rental nearby), and public transit (Bus Routes 15, 20 & 72).

It’s just a short urban hike to beautiful Mt. Tabor Park where you can enjoy summer concerts in the amphitheater and it's wooded trails with views of Downtown Portland to the west and Mt. Hood to the east. Also nearby are Laurelhurst Park (5 min. by car), The Hawthorne Shopping District (7 min. by car)and there's a public swimming pool, tennis court, and baseball fields as well as a lovely antique mall only a few blocks away.

This apartment is one of two separate, fully furnished, apartments with beautifully landscaped private patio gardens, off-street parking and an on-site laundry facility. The private patio garden area of this unit has a wonderful water feature and fountain. Each apartment has two bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Full Bed), one bath, with full kitchen (Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, and Dishwasher), dining area, hardwood floors, and comfortable living rooms, featuring original art, TV (No Cable), DVD player and Movie Library, WiFi (Wireless Access), CD Stereo with MP3/Ipod hook up.

    • The apartment is beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with the attention to detail, the comfort, and the landscaping. It seems that all needs were anticipated: when we needed anything, it was available. The location was good for us also - within 2 blocks of several Tri-Met bus lines (no need for a rental car), easy walk to the Mt. Tabor park, close to restaurants and pubs on Stark. My sons and I highly recommend this place and will return when possible.

    • Absolutely the highest recommendation! If you are looking for great accommodations in Portland, look NO further! My sisters and I were so delighted upon arrival and all during our stay. This lovely respite provided a magical and ultra-relaxing escape. It became a sanctuary for us, in regards to the emotional tasks we knew we had to accomplish. The gardens are elegant, yet they are allowed to relax in a seemingly un-manicured presentation. Our french doors were opened every day to include the lapping water fountain in all of our mornings and evenings. We also enjoyed the location and felt very central to all things. In addition, we walked over to have a delightful lunch at the recommended Bipartisan Café. Thank you so much for carving out and providing such a great space, as well as your gracious hosting. I would love to come again.

    • Enjoyed staying at this lovely duplex property while in Portland. The garden is truly spectacular and creates a lovely area to relax. The property is well situated in the Montavilla neighborhood and is a short walking distance to restaurants, shops and Mount Tabor park all of which we enjoyed. An easy drive from the Airport and all downtown and other area attractions with helpful maps provided by your host. Highly recommend.

    • This apartment was beautiful and newly renovated. The garden, by far, was the best part. It was a great place to have a glass of wine at night and breakfast in the morning. We comfortably fit 5 people in this apartment (thanks to the owners lending us an air matress. Thanks guys!)

    • This vacation home was even better than expected. The location is close to so many great places including downtown. The owners were very kind and provided some great information on places to eat and things to see and do. There were a few items that weren't "kid-friendly" for our toddler but the owners pointed those out up front which we appreciated. Overall, a wonderful visit to a charming city.

    • An oasis of calm in a hectic vacation... Exceptionally well equipped, clean, and in a quiet residential area, we truly enjoyed the opportunity to stay here. Yes, the location is close to downtown, freeways, restaurants and shopping but we hardly wanted to leave the private and beautifully landscaped yard. Welcoming owners. Great value. Lovely city. Who could ask for more? Highly recommended!
