Very charming apartment in an excellent location. It’s located on the third floor of a very lovely old building with elevator, at via della Barchetta – Roma.
If you visit a map website you could have the correct idea about its excellent location. Just around the corner from Via Giulia, a famed historical old street in the heart of Rome. It’s ZTL (Traffic Limited Zone) and it’s very quiet and safe at night too.
From there the most important historical sights can be reached with a short walk (15 minutes radius) without any bus and any transportation.
Just crossing the bridge you could reach St. Peter Cathedral , Sant’Angelo Castle and Trastevere quarter (300 meters walking). In the opposite side , 300 meters too, you could easily reach Piazza Navona , Campo de’ Fiori, one of the most famous Rome’s meeting points with its bars, cafes, restaurants, pizzerias, shops and pubs perfect for people watching and window-shopping and a very peculiar open market in the morning.
Walking distance you’ll have the Patheon, Trevi Fountain , Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia, Roman Forum Coliseum etc.
As you can see from the pictures the apartment’s fine furnished with a firewood too.
It consists of a double bedroom queen size bed, a living room with a double sofa-bed and single sofa bed, a en suite bathroom with bath tube. The fully kitchen is equipped with coffee-/espresso machine, electric cooker with oven, fridge, toaster, microwave, hot water boiler, blender as well as all the other necessary appliances, so that up to 5 guests can comfortably reside. Wifi internet connection.
The entrance has vaulting ceiling and the apartment has floor tiles . Of course, you have entertainment devices such as a TV with connection for various channels, a DVD Player and a CD/Radio player as well as air conditioning and internet key connection on demand.

Aleesia's apartment was perfect for us. It was clean, lovely and spacious, with all the amenities. A very nice kitchen and bath,comfortable large bed and living room, with plenty of storage. There was also a couch for additional sleeping. We stayed there for a total of 8 nights. 6 at the beginning of our trip and 2 before leaving for home. We were a few minutes walk from Campo di Fiori and a tad longer to Piazza Navonna. The Tiber was less than a block away and we could also walk to the Vatican and the Pantheon from our flat. We were in a very Italian section of the city with narrow cobblestone streets, which we loved. We always felt safe there, and the Italian people are so friendly and nice. In the mornings we bought fresh fruit and vegetables in Campo di Fiori, There were many outside stalls for shopping for souvenirs, clothing, which were quite reasonable. Small and large cafe were in abundance. Even though the dollar is weak in Europe, we thought prices were very reasonable. In the evening there were many street performers, musicians, mimes and artists in Piazza Navona. We went there every night. This is the only section of Rome we would want to be in. Aleesia and her colleagues, Claudia and Tony could not have been nicer. They even suggested we have a meal together and took us to a wonderful restaurant. Their was no problem communicating. If you want to be in a convenient, charming, area of Rome, this is the place. It's a noisy city, but with the windows closed the apartment was very quiet. However, we kept them open all day because we enjoyed the sounds of the city. We used their limo service to go from and to the airport and highly recommend this. Ciao, Eileen and Frank
