Location: Windham NY~ upper Catskills, Exit 21 NYS Thruway (House is 1 mile from Ski Windham Mountain Resort over looking the magnificent views of the slopes).
Accommodations: Beautiful private family Home, 4 bedrooms open balcony over living room 2 1/2 Baths open floor plan living room, dining, & kitchen. Wood burning stove, gas fireplace, decks off living room & 2nd floor master bedroom. Kitchen, dining area, living room, and guest bedroom are located on the first floor. First floor guest bedroom contains a single bed with a trundle (sleeps 2).
The beautiful views only continue as you ascend to the second floor, where you will find two additional guest bedrooms, a full guest bathroom, and the master bedroom. First guest bedroom sleeps five on bunk beds and a queen size bed. The second guest bedroom sleeps two on a full size bed. The master bedroom also contains a full bathroom and a queen size bed. Sliding glass doors will lead you from the master bedroom to the second level deck with a gorgeous view of the mountain. All bedrooms on the second floor are located along an open balcony providing views of the living area on the first floor.
The gas fireplace and the wood burning stove provide a cozy atmosphere to come home to after a day of skiing or outside adventure. The spacious kitchen and attached dining area are perfect for sharing a glass of wine, food preparation, and great meals with family and friends.
This rental also includes use of a private locker in the exclusive 3500 Club at Windham Mountain. The locker can hold 4 sets of skis, boots, gloves, helmets, and a snowboard. The locker also comes with special parking privileges in the first few rows of the Mountain parking lot. It will save you the trouble of hauling your skis back home at the end of the day!

It is a home to be shared with family and friends. You will make many memories on and off the ski slopes, playing a board game by the fire place, watching a movie together in the living room, or sharing a meal with your loved ones.

My husband and I stayed here to visit my son at a nearby college. It was a great experience. My son was able to ski for the weekend and enjoy very good dinners at local restaurants which were 5 minutes away. Our stay at the house was just like being home. It was very clean and well maintained. We relaxed in the very comfortable living room in front of the fire and enjoyed the view of the mountain. Sleeping accommodations were good. We plan on spending more weekends visiting my son and staying here. I am looking forward to having my married children join us so they can experience the warmth of this house. The owners are very easy to speak to and very helpful in providing info on nearby attractions and restaurants.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family consisting of me, my husband and 2 adult sons stayed at this home along with 10 other friends/family. We had more than enough room. The house was found in excellent condition, clean and full of warm, cozy furniture and very comfortable beds. The view of the mountain, especially at night was breathtaking. We were literally minutes from the mountain, downtown, theatres, ice-skating, tubing, stores, etc. I would highly recommend staying here. Next year we are hoping to rent for the whole season. All rooms were spacious and I truly felt like I was at home.

The view, the spacious rooms and the warmth of the house made this vacation rental feel more like a "home away from home." The owner was extremely helpful in helping us to plan a day on the slopes with our kids. The house was in excellent condition, extremely well kept and spotless. This is definately a must do for families looking for something a little more personal for their vacation stay.

I stayed here last spring and it was so beautiful and peaceful. Now I have just enjoyed and amazing time in the winter with my friends. This home is so beautiful and the view is breathtaking! The house was pefect for my group and it was so clean. We are already planning our next trip back!

Rental was all that it was said to be in VRBO ad. Clean and fully equipped in good condition. The location - 15 minute walk into town was very convenient. The owner's main concern was to make sure our vacation was a most enjoyable one. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. Would definitely stay again at this property and recommend it to a friend or relative!
