We have loved our years of living in Mammoth Lakes. We ski from November to June, sometimes July. We bicycle from April to November. We golf and play tennis all summer. The fishing is good whenever the ice is off the lakes. Hiking, mountain biking, tennis on our own courts, kayaking, and mountain exploring have their own season.
We have enjoyed them all. We hope you do as well.
This has been our home for many years now. We have improved, remodeled, upgraded as necessary, and furnished it for our own comfort. We have moved on now and we hope you enjoy sharing our home. You will find a well appointed kitchen, quality appliances, extensive tableware and cookware, and even table linnens. Our cabinetry, countertops, and plumbing have all been upgraded.
Our home location is great. The bus, Red Line, stops at the end of our driveway for access to all mountain lodges without automobile use in winter conditions. Summertime access is walk able or bike all over town. We walk to the park, playground, and meadow. You will have to use your car to take your golf clubs to the golf courses but its only a few blocks. Swimming, jacuzzi, and sauna are on the premises, year around.
We have loved our location, as you can probably tell.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1992
Jim and Sharon Williams are parents and grandparents. We have family in New York, South Carolina, Orange County and Torrance, California. Most of our grandkids have learned to ski or snowboard in Mammoth. Many of them have learned to fish or kayak here. Some of them have learned to swim in this pool. Jim is a volunteer naturalist and tour guide for the US Forrest Service. Sharon has been a part of the Mammoth Hospital Auxiliary and the Mountain Host Department. Our past includes band parents, school boosters, Rotary, Tournament of Roses, Sunday School teacher, Boy & Girl Scouts, and a life as full as possible of family.
Why the Owner Chose Chateau Sans Nom
The skiing is world class in all respects. We have loved every minute of it as well as sharing it with our family and grandchildren. This is wonderful for a winter vacation. We really bought here for the summer. The hiking, bicycling, fishing, and mountain exploring have been very rewarding. Two beautiful golf courses are here now and that has opened a whole new door to summer activity. The private pool and tennis court has been important also.
The Unique Benefits of this Duplex/Condominium
Our community enjoys a very special spring season each year. One can ski in the morning and golf or fish in the afternoon. This is usually a short season. The ice on the lakes melts in late April and the golf courses try to open in mid May. Skiing usually continues into June. We have a a dual season, Ski/Golf or Ski/Fish, for a few weeks each spring.
