This charming mountain cabin has 2 bedrooms and a loft. Each bedroom has new Queen size beds and the loft has a Queen size futon. There is also a twin pull-out couch downstairs. The smoke-free house is simply adorable with lots of light, an open great room with a gas fireplace and a large deck with views of the pine trees and ski hills off in the distance. Great for families with kids. It is surrounded by pine trees and on a very quiet street. It is heaven!
There is a large two car garage with a level driveway for easy winter access. Guest access to the Tahoe Donner amenities is included with the rental. Tahoe Donner has a newly renovated and expanded fitness center, three swimming pools, a highly regarded eighteen hole golf course, a cross country ski center and extensive hiking and biking trails, an equestrian center, a beach marina at Donner Lake, and a family friendly downhill ski area. The lap pool and the hot tubs are heated year-round outdoors.
This home is located fifteen to twenty minutes from a number of ski areas including Alpine, Squaw Valley, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, and Boreal. The house is a five minute drive from Coyote Moon golf course and ten minutes to Donner Lake. And, of course, we are twenty five minutes from Lake Tahoe & about 30 minutes from the casinos in Reno.

This house is ideal for our summer vacation because it is not only big enough to sleep our whole family, but has everything we need. We love grilling and stargazing on the deck. We also enjoy being able to access great hiking and biking trails only minutes from the house. Donner Lake is great for the kids who love kayaking and playing on the beach. We also appreciate having the clubhouse pool within walking distance from the house for warm afternoons.

The house was perfect for our family vacation! We love the open and bright living space where we spent most of our time relaxing and playing games. We also enjoyed being able to go sledding right outside the door and being able to build snowmen on the deck. The bedrooms were a perfect size and the loft worked out great for the older kids. Of course, the access to skiing, the clubhouse sauna and jacuzzi made our stay very convenient and very restful.
