A perfect vacation home. Charming, updated 1940's La Jolla beach area cottage with beautiful interiors, lush private gardens, trickling waterfall, and flagstone patio. Located in a quiet beach residential neighborhood, this house is sunny, bright and cheerful. You won’t find a nicer home at this low rate.
The 1,100 sq. ft. cottage is ideally located just a 3 1/2 block walk to semi-private Marine Street beach, or continue further down to world famous Windnsea beach. For evenings, enjoy the 5 block stroll into La Jolla Village where you can visit the many restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and parks.
Although you'll want to enjoy the summer weather BBQing and relaxing on the patio, deck and gardens outside, the house is fully furnished and tastefully decorated inside with modern day luxuries: 50" Plasma HDTV in living room, 32" LCD in master bedroom, cable, Wi-Fi internet, Showtime, and DVD. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils a gourmet chef would expect. The home is bathed in sunshine with skylights in four of the rooms.
The comfortable beds are furnished with 400 thread count linens and down pillows/duvets. The master bedroom has a king size bed with views out French windows to the back garden and small waterfall, and the second bedroom has a queen size bed.
This is a perfect vacation house for those who want to enjoy the best of La Jolla at an exceptional rate.

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for two weeks this Summer and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It is ideally located within walking distance to the beach (you can even see the ocean if you stand out front in the yard). It is a perfectly quiet and quaint street but also close enough to be walking distance to the village where there are plenty of restaurants/shopping... and even a couple coffee shops.The home is furnished comfortably and I loved the beautiful garden patio in the backyard! I highly recommend this beautiful garden house. We are sure to stay there again! Thank you Bruce for being so helpful and accommodating!

The yard and garden of this house are gorgeous! We sat outside on the beautiful deck every morning with our coffee and listened to the mockingbird singing in the tree above. The house is very nice and well kept, in an extremely quiet location but within walking distance of the village and beaches. We were very pleased with our choice.

We are from Pennsylvania and my wife and I have a married daughter in LaJolla. Our daughter was expecting her second child at the end of March. We arrived early to help our daughter with her three year old & also to make sure we would be there for the birth of her new child. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found and stayed in property 247297. The house was very comfortable and light and airy. It had been meticulously taken care of with comfortable appointments and a large flat screen TV and entertainment center. There was also a large desk and wireless internet which enabled me to comfortably attend to my business. The kitchen was practical and convenient and the back yard was charming with many plants and a barbeque grill. We would definitely try to stay here again when we come back to LaJolla for an extended period of time.
