Enjoy spectacular views of the North Georgia mountains including Brasstown Bald from every room and deck of this cozy cabin. Located just 3 miles from the center of town and only 4 miles from the N. Georgia fairgrounds, you will be amazed at the privacy of this mountain ridge. Bring your bike, bring your dog, and prepare to unwind at the beach, tube down a river,play a round of golf, take a train ride through the mountains or rock the afternoon away on the porch.
There is a large master bedroom with king bed, and private bath with an over-sized jetted tub and separate shower on the second floor. A door leads to the top deck from the bedroom. The loft has a sitting area, futon for extra sleeping and TV with DVD/VCR player. The loft also has a door to the upper deck.
The first floor master bedroom has a queen bed and access to the lower deck. The bathroom is accessible from inside the bedroom.
The kitchen is modern and complete with every amenity. It is a part of the the great room, so you don't have to miss a thing if you are making the hamburger patties to cook on the grill. The mountain views are even enjoyed from the kitchen.
The washer and dryer make it possible to pack light and take home clean clothes.
Chatuge Shores Golf Course, Brasstown Resort, Mountain Harbor at the Ridges are just three of the five gold courses in the area, so don't forget your clubs.
The alpine town of Helen is a 23 mile ride away. Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest mountain is a "must see" destination. Bikers will love the ride over the curves of scenic 180 or up 129 to the "Tail of the Dragon". The Georgia Mountain Fair, the North Georgia Art Festival, Campbell Folk School are just a few of the events that will enhance your stay in Hiawassee. Rent a boat or bring your own. Lake Chatuge is waiting for you.

We were thrilled with the view .but the cabin was not what we thought was great ,the drain in the tub did not drain ,the jetted tub didn't even work (me thingies looked forward to on my trip )the door would not lock period up stairs had to put a chair in front of it. The door nob was falling off down stairs ,the floors were not very secure few places you felt like you would fall in.windows not vry clean.will no stay there again .ps we call the rental place and all they said we will take care of it .never herd from them again.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: This photo was taken on our deck last summer. Actually, I was holding my granddaughters on my lap at the time.
Why the Owner Chose Hiawassee:
We bought the cabin for our own use. When we built another place, we loved this one so much, we decided to keep it as a rental. It sits just high enough to enjoy the breezes and the views of the mountain and lake are great. It's close to town yet private too. All good things.

The cool breezes from the decks, the view of the North Georgia mountains from every room. Being close to town for music, fairs and dining out. Feeling all alone as we rock on our porch or enjoy our BBQ. The dog has room to play and explore.
