Our log cabin is completely secluded on over 7 acres without another cabin, house or building in sight and it has gorgeous views of Shadow Mountain Lake and the mountains. Although secluded we are only 1 mile to the entrance of the town of Grand Lake and 1.5 miles to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin is very spacious at 2,400 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a full walk out basement. From our wrap around deck relax & enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail while enjoying the “Alpenglow” sunset & the wildlife visitors including: elk, deer, moose, fox & osprey.
Some of the amenities we offer include: indoor gas fireplace, outdoor woodburning fireplace, large wrap around upper deck, second lower deck with hot tub, high speed wireless internet, CD's, I-Pod docking station, family & adult movies, adult books, horse shoe pit, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, board games, washer/dryer, outdoor gas grill, satellite tv, 2 adult snowhoes & many different sized ice skates for you convenience . We have 3 boys & are extremely kid friendly & have a pack-n-play, highchair, stroller, x-box – including games, kids board games, toys in a toy room in the loft, kid movies, books & a playground/swingset.
Our impeccably clean cabin has a King size bed in a bedroom, a Queen size in a bedroom, 2 Queen size beds in the master bedroom & a full size pull out couch in the loft & 2 full size bathrooms.
Grand Lake is quaint village on the shores of Colorado's largest natural lake and the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. With Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake & Lake Granby there is more than 150 miles of scenic shoreline to explore, hike or fish. In the summer the Grand Lake area has plenty to do including: boating, sailing, fishing, hiking, golfing, hot sulpher springs, shopping, live theatre or just enjoying the warm sunny days and cool evenings. In the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling, cross country & down hill skiing, hot springs, snow shoeing, sleigh rides, dog sled rides & sledding. In the fall you will appreciate the smaller crowds & the aspen leaves that turn a golden yellow & great wildlife viewing as the elk & moose make their way down from the mountains. You can also admire the elk bugling/mating season – simply a must see/hear!

We moved from Ohio to Littleton, Co 14 years ago & bought our 1st place in Grand Lake 13 years ago. We have 3 boys: twins that are 13 years old & an 8 year old that love to go to the cabin & catch frogs, butterflies, grasshoppers, play on the swingset, enjoy the wildflower or just hang out on one of the big rocks to have a picnic.

You have an absolutely gorgeous cabin - very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The scenery was outstanding. We had elk come visit us along with a lone moose that was waiting for us half way up the side of the drive way. The hiking in the park was superb. We absolutely recommend that anyone visiting the area stay at your cabin. We made unforgettable memories on our trip to Grand Lake and the surrounding areas.

Nothing can be said about this cabin & its surrounding environment except that it is next to perfect! Wildlife was abundant around the cabin; elk, deer, chipmunks, birds, a raptor & the resident fox. Our top prize was a moose & her calf in the park! We are very thankful for a truly extrodinary experience at your cabin!

We came with very high expectations & have not been disappointed! Gorgeous cabin in a stunning location - I dont think we have ever been anywhere so relaxing. We went hiking, mountain biking, rented a boat on Grand Lake & went go-karting. Our teenagers liked the ping pong & x-box. We would come back again anytime!
