My husband and I travel, frequently, and have visited several cities/villages/resorts in Colorado. This trip-the 7-acre wood cabin- and the whole Grand Lake, CO experience was top notch. The cabin is exactly how Jeff and Maureen advertise it, even better. While it was just my husband and I staying, this cabin is VERY family friendly and sleeps several more, comfortably. It is definitely secluded and one of the most romantic places we have ever stayed. Thanks, again, Maureen and Jeff! P.S. My husband's ONLY complaint was that he could not watch sportscenter every morning-there is no ESPN on Satellite! LOLOLOL!!!

We rented this house in August of 2010. Our group consisted of my mother, my husband and me- and our 3 kids who were aged 7, 5 and 18 months at the time. We loved this house! The house has an absolutely amazing view of the lake- which is not fully caputured in these pictures. It is a mile or two up the road from the town of Grand Lake with its fun shopping and restaurants. There are seamingly countless great hikes in the area. My husband and our oldest son played golf at the amazingly beautiful golf course that is up the road a couple of miles. They also took a ranger lead fly fishing course in the park which was a lot of fun. August weather was perfect. The house has a large bedroom upstairs that has its own bathroom which is perfect for the kids. The main level has 2 nice bedrooms and another bath. The lower level has a ping pong and foozeball (sp?) table which my boys loved and played many times daily. There is also a wonderful hottub which we hopped into each evening! The washer/dryer came in quite handy and the house really had everything we could need. We would highly recommend this house to others and can't wait to come back! The owners were also very honest and easy to work with.

Thank you for sharing your little piece of Heaven with our family. The cabin was beautiful and just as you stated in your ad. Our 3 boys had a great time, they enjoyed the bon fire, the hot tub and the air hockey table. And we cannot forget looking for the faces on the trees too. The views from the deck were spectacular, from the early morning sunrise to breath taking sunsets and the stars after dark, we could even see the milky way! We saw deer, moose, fox, and lots of little ground squirrels on the property. The trees were at peak color and we had perfect weather everyday. If we get the chance to return to beautiful Colorado, we know right where we will stay! Thank you!

My family and I just returned from Seven Acre Wood and could not have asked for a better vacation. The house is conveniently located to downtown Grand Lake, yet secluded. Also, the house is very well maintained, completely equipped and immaculate. Jeff and Maureen were wonderul to work with on arrangements, etc. Highly recommend this cabin.

We recently returned from a week's visit in Colorado. We stayed in The 7 Acre Wood cabin owned by Maureen & Jeff Betz. They were very friendly and easy to work with. Also they did not misrepresent the cabin in any way. It's just as nice and comfortable as it looks in the photos. During our visit we saw moose, deer and elk on the property which was exciting and different from our life in AZ. We caught rainbow trout in Grand Lake from the shore and hiked up to see Adam's waterfall. The scenery from the front of the cabin is beautiful with a great view of Shadow Lake and Shadow Mountain. We drove to Estes Park and Trail Ridge Road was magnificent . It had been closed due to snow but luckily was opened during out visit. The weather was delightful and we would love to return some day.
