Awesome, Quiet, Cute Stay

My parents stayed at this house for three nights over Christmas and absolutely loved it. While there are only two bedrooms, there are two air mattresses and a hide-a-bed in the couch. The kitchen is very adequate with a gorgeous dining room. It is quiet, but also extremely accessible on the main highway. While it looks like it might be a rather noisy location, it is surprisingly quiet. It is near all the main tourist locations and such. :) Definitely a great place to stay! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at your wonderful water front house. It was close to restaurants, gas and both Oregon and Washington coast lines. Thanks for letting us stay in your Astoria house. We will recommend it to all and love to stay again. The house was very clean and we had every thing we need for our stay.

My husband and two friends stayed here for a weekend and had such a wonderful time! The house is immaculate and the owners have thought of everything you might need right there for you. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked I have ever seen! Big rooms, comfy beds, and the covered porch is great for waking up and having coffee in while watching the fog roll in under the bridge. The trolley stop is right across the street and will bring you in to downtown Astoria, complete with a tour from the charming older men that run it. All in all, a great price, and a most recommended stay. We will be back. :)

We rented this house while visiting family in Astoria. It was a great location; Close to downtown and right under the famous bridge. Also across the street from one of the trolley stops. The rooms were larger than we expected and larger than they appear in the photos. The enclosed front porch is perfect for watching boats. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Hi Angie, We had a great time staying at your place and I hope that your cleaning person found it neat and orderly upon their inspection. I just wanted to say that we all loved the place - the layout and the convenience of the location were perfect. It was really the perfect little place and we'll all be recommending it to anyone we know planning to stay in Astoria. Thanks again, Mike

Angie, We really enjoyed your house and would stay there again and recommend it to friends. I knew it was in a busy area of traffic and businesses, but I found that to be part of the experience and we enjoyed being connected to Astoria, and we liked getting right on the highway when we wanted to go up or down the coast. I really enjoyed the layout of the house and how it fit in with the steepness of the side slope—reminded me of the homes where I grew up In Pittsburgh. I would enjoy sitting in the sun porch and watching the river traffic if we get back during warmer and drier times. It was very well decorated and extremely clean and refreshing. It was a great place to say and I’m glad it worked out for us with such short notice on our part—we appreciate that. Thanks again! Frank

Hi Angie, Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Your house is lovely and immaculate. We really loved the area and enjoyed being able to walk down the street to the coffee shop and along the river walk to the Wet Dog Cafe. When we first arrived and were checking out the house I opened the back door to look at your back yard. As I opened the back door I was greeted by a large raccoon on the steps. I screamed and slammed the door -as if the raccoon was going to overpower me and shove his way through the door into the house. Needless to say my entire family was on the floor laughing and will never let me forget the day I scared the daylights out of a poor raccoon. We landed in Atlanta last night to HOT, MUGGY weather!!! We already miss your cool temperatures!

Thanks so much for the quick response on your quick refund on the deposit! Things we liked: - location was walkable to downtown - nice that we were close to a few basic amenities (coffee shop, restaurants); we loved the proximity to the karaoke bar the opposite direction of downtown. We also thought being close to KFC was actually a major plus - I'm sure you don't hear that very often! :) - house was VERY clean; spotless in fact. - the amenities, such as all the dishware, towels, and sheets, were also very clean. - key pad lock was very affective so that we didn't need to worry about the key - dedicated parking was a major plus - one minor thing that would have been helpful and an extra special touch would be to have a small map available of Astoria. There were great resources in the phone books and pamphlets, but our basic need was for a map. Thanks again. If my travels take me to Astoria again, we'll be sure to look you up and I'm more than happy to recommend your property to friends

Hi Angie! We had intended to email you today to tell you how darling the cottage was! We all really enjoyed watching the ships come in as we sat on the sun porch. The house was spotless and beautifully set up for entertaining friends. Also, the flowers out front were very welcoming. Whoever is taking care of things for you is doing a wonderful job. At first we were a little concerned that the road noise might bother our sleep, but the town goes to bed early (even on a festival weekend) and we slept like babies. We would recommend you to our friends!
