Come relax and enjoy the view of the ocean from the dining room and living room. The view from the outside balcony is spectacular and what a great place for relaxing with friends and family for drinks and/or dinner. The breeze off the ocean keeps our place cool year round.
We are within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. If you want to enjoy all San Diego offers, we are located within 20 minutes of the major attractions. Also, Disneyland is just a hour north.
Our complex offers a great time all by itself. We have 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis and 2 tennis courts and of course, we have the beach. The complex access for the beach is a quick 2 minute walk to a semi-private beach. We provide toys and chairs, all you'll need are the bathing suits, sunscreen and smiles!

This condo made a terrific home base for our trip to the San Diego area. It's convenient to the highway for heading north to Legoland, or south to San Diego. We stayed there for 8 days with our 4 children (ages 12, 10, 8, and 6) at the end of April and we all had plenty of room. The condo has a large master suite, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a balcony with an ocean view. It is listed as a 2 bedroom, but there is a "loft" right off the living room with a trundle bed that works as a smaller 3rd bedroom (our boys slept in there and had plenty of room). Parking is underground, and the assigned parking spaces (there are 2) are convenient to the stairs up to the condo. One minor note of warning - there are a lot of stairs in the development, so if you have serious mobility issues, then it might not be the best choice - particularly the staircase down to the beach (that's true of most of the coastline between San Diego and Carlsbad, actually). All in all, this condo really exceeded our expectations and made our vacation even that much more enjoyable. Places we went that were great: The San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park: Stellar destinations, and well worth the trip. Petco Park: The Padres are not a good team, but the park is a terrific place to see a game, and the seats are cheap El Indio: This Mexican restaurant is in San Diego, and it's is AMAZING. Old Town San Diego: fun to walk around and visit. the Old Town Transit station has free parking and you can pick up trolleys to most places in the city (kids generally ride free on weekends, too). Belmont Park: old-style amusement park - bumper cars, wooden coaster, etc - fun for the kids Children's Pool Beach in La Jolla: Go see the seals! La Jolla beach: in late April, this was the only beach where it was warm enough to swim without a wetsuit Coronado Beach: a great walk, and the Hotel Del Coronado is quite a sight Harbor Tour: great pictures of the skyline, and interesting in its own right Midway Museum, Maritime Museum, Reuben Fleet Center, and all the museums in Balboa Park. Legoland: We were really looking forward to this, and were kind of let down, actually - showing its age and they did not manage crowds well (the kids loved it, though) We ended up getting GoSanDiego cards and saved a decent amount of money
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
