The unique cultural lifestyle town of San Miguel de Allende, in the State of Guanajuato, Central Mexico in 2008 was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Residence is located in the Section of town known as Colinas de San Miguel and it is a nice 20 minute walk or easy 5 minute drive to the center of town.
In-town Country type Large Residence with 6 bedrooms, 9 baths (6 full and 3 1/2 baths). Sleeps 12-16 (9 beds mostly king sized), 16,000 sq ft of constructed area and 6000 + square feet of living area.
Set upon the top of the Hill (Colinas de San Miguel) on the west side of town, with a fantastic view of much of the town and surrounding countryside. This ample, luxurious architectural beauty is most ideal for large families, multiple couples, groups as well as larger reunions and special events. With Casa Jazmin's unique floor plan on 3 stories of living area with many window views of the surrounding area, open courtyards, extensive parking (including 6 car garage), several covered and uncovered patios, large back yard, spacious domed living/screening room, sunken social room with fireplace, large formal dinning room, breakfast room, large kitchen and office all provide great privacy and ample living.
The residence is located on a private drive on the Colinas San Miguel hill overlooking the town from the west, within 5 minutes drive to the central area of town. The nearest neighbor is 75 yards away. It is common to see white herons fly over the residence during the day going and coming from the lake. The panoramic view at night is just simply magnificent, lest we forget to mention that the view provided at night for the frequent firework displays are fantastic to see in the celebration of the birthday of one or another saints of the local churches. As well, due to its unique location, if its the right time of the year you can find glowing fire flies at the residence as well which ad to the natural beauty of this property.

Staying at our house you will enjoy totall serenity. Great views of the town from a hilltop where the house rests and lots of space for any activity from a movie in the screening room to a large dinner party to a game of frisbee or catch in the backyard. The house is spacious and everyting inside is oversized so you never have a feeling of clutter or confinement. An amazing breeze comes through the house from the surrounding valleys that is truly priceless. You will not find a more relaxing home in San Miguel that is also very conducive to entertaining and celebrating life!
Best and largest grocery store in San Miguel is very near Cas Jazmin. Here you can buy just about anything you need, from a toothbrush to fresh produce or movies!
The large, beautiful cathedral in the center of town. We have unobstructed views of this which are beautiful at night.

We are married couple that has spent time living both in Mexico and United States. We have homes in both countries and love going between the two. We raised our children in Arizona and spent summers in San Miguel where the kids took classes in everything from Spanish to lithography! They are grown up and still like coming back to visit to enjoy all the wonderful activities and culture that San Miguel has to offer. If you have been here, you know. If you have not, you need to visit!

My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous house a few days in September. The tranquility and delicious smell of the jasmins were delicious. A few minutes away, there were the frenzy, wonderful, high energy activities of the Fiestas Patrias (Mexican Independence Celebration, Sep. 15, 16. . .) The gardener Don Jose and the cook/cleanining lady, Martha could not have been more gracious, helpful and eager to make sure our stay there was "satisfactory." Our stay there was SUPERB!! This is a house for people who appreciate and respect the best services and accomodations money can buy. It is an absolute beauty and, we highly recommend it to anybody visiting this fantastic part of Mexico. San Miguel is a jewel of a town and the stunning property overlooks it!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
