The "Falls" at Lake Sutherland has been in our family since 1972 when my parents bought a small tiny cabin, nestled at the foot of a mountain on a crystal clear lake as an investment and a fun summer time activity for their five children. In 1999, my husband and I purchased the cabin to keep it in our family. It has been expanded, remodeled top to bottom, and now boasts one of the most lovely cottage interiors to match the unparalleled exterior beauty of Lake Sutherland, its views, and all that it and the surrounding areas have to offer.
Maple hardwood floors, tiled countertops and gorgeous wood wrapped windows frame the lake views while darling, cushy furnishings envelope you while you gaze. Cottage quilts cover the beds and thoughtful signs throughout the cabin, remind you that life is indeed "good!!"
Sit on the deck in one of our famous "swinging chairs" and read, bird watch, or just doze to the sounds of the lake and the waterfalls. Roast a hotdog in the open fire pit or do a perfect swan dive off of the diving board. Play a game of horseshoes or take the canoe out for a leisurely paddle. Fish from the dock, play a game, craft a puzzle, or challenge your spouse to a game of cards!!
If more activity is your desire, bring your boat and water sports equipment and take your adventures to the waves!

My husband and I grew up on Lake Sutherland. In fact, we own another property just four doors down from this one that we live in because the lake truly is, the only place to be!! We raised our own children at Lake Sutherland, and their fondest memories have all been made there as well. The mornings are my favorite time of the day when I can walk out on my deck, coffee in hand, and just drink in all of the beauty that this magical place has to offer.

Julie and Jim, we and our kids had a n absolutely wonderful time at your cabin! Thanks for sharing such a peaceful and beautiful place. Our kids loved the canoe and exploring the trails at the National Park. We would certainly like to come back to Lake Sutherland sooner rather than later!

Jim and Julie, what a charming cabin! It's just the way I would want my own cabin to look. The kids enjoyed the swings and we all loved eating meals out on the deck. No need for an inside table! The diving board and swim raft were great and also the canoe. Next time we will plan to spend a whole day at the cabin instead of taking off for the park each afternoon!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage! We enjoyed listening to the waterfall as we fell asleep and the relaxing view from the deck. We loved the hammock chairs overlooking the lake. The proximity to Olympic Park was great. We enjoyed our time at the park and were happy to "return home" at the end of a great day.

My family of four was more than comfortable in this sweet little cabin! We enjoyed the deck immensely and on the cooler mornings the view of the lake out the huge windows was breath taking. We too had a visit from the resident bald eagle, a sight for sure! The week days were peaceful, as though we had the lake to ourselves, but we also enjoyed the weekend with the great community atmosphere. The owners thought of everything in stocking up this cabin for guests, including the canoe, life jackets, beach towels. We look forward to visiting again in a few years! - California family of 4
