Willow Creek Ranch is a two story, rustic mountain home on 35 acres with a finished walk-out basement, flagstone patio off the family room, three bedrooms, three full baths, separate master suite on upper level with a loft office, living room with stone fireplace, eat in fully equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry room, large family room with pool table and big screen TV, large wrap around deck on front with patio set, smaller deck on back with large barbeque grill, and mud room at the back entrance.
We would love to introduce you to the ranch life, the critters who live with us on Willow Creek Ranch, and those that live just on the other side of the fence. Ranch life is hard work, but fun if you love the lifestyle, and we sure do love it. We have several horses, black angus, two dogs, and our barn cats, Riley, Stripes and Tux. Our dogs are very friendly, will alert us of visitors, and love to be petted ... Buck is the blue heeler and Jackson is our schnauzer. We want our guests to have access to all of the ranch property ... This makes the introduction to the ranch and the critters a must.
We will show you the hiking paths into the Arapahoe National Forest. Pack a lunch, some water, your camera, and enjoy the views. Bring your horse and we will show you where to ride ... There is plenty of free parking for your horse trailer. Minimal fees for your horse boarding... Call for details.
The guest residence is rented to one family and/or group of friends at a time. We occupy a separate residence on the property, far enough away for your privacy, but close enough should you need anything. We can stock the kitchen for you with groceries, liquor, toiletries, and other items ... Just give us your list two weeks prior to your visit, and we will charge the bill to your credit card.
Willow Creek Ranch is centrally located in the Colorado mountains you have always wanted to see, the Denver you have always wanted to visit, and the ski resorts you have dreamed of experiencing. The ski resorts are beautiful to visit in the summer too ... Their beauty does not end with the snow season ... It just begins!

Why the Owner Chose Evergreen
The quiet of the forest at night, the seclusion, and it's still only 10 minutes to town. The Upper Bear Creek area has some of the most beautiful mountain views in the world. As you come up Upper Bear Creek Road to the ranch, the view of Mt. Evans is breath taking. Sitting on the oversized deck with your favorite drink and enjoying the ranch with its quiet beauty is very relaxing.

The access to Arapahoe National Forest on our horses, and for a day of hiking is priceless. During the hunting season, we have the best of both worlds within a few miles, and we can stay dry ... Well, at least when it's not snowing. Having the forest critters visit us on a daily basis makes for great entertainment when family and friends visit.

I've always been an animal lover, and I must admit a rancher at heart. I did not hesitate to purchase these 35 acres that back up to the Arapahoe National Forest when I had the opportunity in 1999. The towering ponderosa pines, the blue spruce, and the aspens are staged below a mountain of boulders, dirt, various creatures and their homes in the forest at 8600 feet. The stars seem to be as close as the ground you walk on. The critters are close, but not too close. The temperature is about 10 degrees cooler in the summer than in Denver and other towns along the front range. The serenity of the forest, its' critters, and the soft evening breeze through the evergreens will lull you to sleep like never before. Willow Creek Ranch eventually grew into the Guest Residence, Car Barn, Barn, Tack Room, Equipment Shed, 2 Barn Apartments, and various other buildings. We have a few horses, black angus, 2 dogs, and a barn cat that are family and occupy space with us here on Willow Creek Ranch. My lady, Jude, and I are friendly, laid back individuals who love our lifestyle here ... We also have a second home in Arizona, but the ranch is our soul. We want to share with you the beauty and serenity of Willow Creek Ranch, and an experience that will bring you back again and again.
